Standing tall with beautiful petals
After awhile of being admired
A shadow was creeping upon me
It was a struggle for sun light
The weeds stealing the water
And wilting away
Until the gardener spotted me
Carefully dug me up
Without pulling my roots
Place in a *** and gave my light
Water down and supported my stem
Now I can grow
To standing tall once again
I am admired by others
But belong to my gardener
I have her to please
In her viewing pleasure
I couldn't have been picked by anyone else
A thanks to my love

orange juice sun glare
squeezes out
a flavour spectrum
of gelato delight
a sky to slowly **** upon.

~

Clouded scarves of winter skies
Woolen wings on tempered sighs
Nature wears her white disguise
Mounting on the field

Laced along the bitter cold
Futures that have been foretold
Endless phrases painted bold
And our lips are sealed

Frozen links of glistened feel
Piled deep as to conceal
Left alone in what is real
Bracing for the storm

Though inside a fire roars
With the one that I adore
Let it snow forever more
Love shall keep us warm

Ok, I know it's not winter yet...just getting ready for it.  :)

Inside the drainage basin
Bounding my soul
Fluid dynamics
Condense

Phases of water
Gather in the
Mountain towers

Over time
Gravity plus precipitation
Converts
Into snow pack

Come spring
That snow pack
Braids it's way down the mountain
Co-mingling with groundwater
Bubbling up in springs
Gathering momentum
In mountain streams

A constant conversion from
Potential to kinematic
Energy

Streams make their
Way into prairie rivers
Meandering along
Through riparian pockets
Of biodiversity

Reaching a levee
Then breaching

Local, national, and international boundaries
Are no match

As my soul
Finds it's way to base level
In the ocean of your love

All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return. Ecclesiastes 1:7

I walked entwined in nature
as if a was sewing around trees
My fingers they thread as I
Hold
Grasp
Touch
The cold bark upon each tree,
Aged, majestic they reach tall
As if trying to reach that which is
"Unattainable"
But still every  moment reaching up,
I see there yield of green now
Fallen from branches up high,
Colours like a carpet, natures painted scenery
I clasp my fingers gently
Brown,
Red,
Yellow,
Different shapes are seen
Natures way of being part of
"Individuality"
A leaf like
A snow flake,
May look the same, but its the
Smaller changes you don't see,
Wild flowers grow
Weeds some are called but I see there
Beauty, petals grace the air
As autumn winds blow through,
I leave nature behind
Leaves and flowers I take with me
Leafs for a daughters scrap book.
Flowers for my wife to see,
A memory of my walk, with nature trees & me..

among the tallest fir trees...
dappled sunlight shines.

betterdays
the argent sun,
has chased away
the piccaninny dawn
and is now lazily,
racing the clouds
to the apex of
the bright blue sky.

the dew is drying
on the grass
and the blucat
is seeking his first
triumph over his
lizard foes.

we sit on the back deck
eating a simple breakfast
cereal and toast.
while surveying
the burgeoning wealth
of our vegie garden.
tall shoots of corn,
and tomato vines,
laden with fruit,
just begining to blush red.
lettuce protected,
within their plastic tube forts
and carrots with their wavy
heads....
and overlaying all,
the smell of citrus,
both lemon and lime.
then, the heady fragrance
of the papaya trees
and the passion fruit vines...

we acknowledge,
with thankful hearts,
we  live in a little corner
of eden....
borrowed for a time....

then to break our reverie, the blucat,
drops a squirming skink, tailess,
on the top step
a murps his triumph...
and the kookaburras laugh
.......long and loud

I'm sitting at the edge of the cliff
Just watching
Just waiting
I'm sitting as the ocean throws itself against the rocks, spraying me
I wait
I wait for something
No
I wait for nothing

I'm sitting on the edge of the cliff
Sliding off the edge I'm gonna let this small nothing happen
I'm gonna have this small nothing be gone in a whisper*
*Just never miss me
Just never whimper

Nature has no poverty, wanton destruction or hatred
For she is nature
Man rips out the beating heart
With every saw cut and bite of Axe
With ever searing brand
That lights the fire of mans destruction

Humans, with their materialistic ways
Slowly draining away my beauty
It's almost the end of my days
Can't they see,
What every flower, river and tree,
Means to me?
I'm the mother of all nature
And my loves flows pure
But soon my love for life
Will no longer endure

You are the rain forest
The beating heart of life
And yet how long can you take the wounds
Caused by my lust and greed
Your heart, your beaten bleeding heart
For every drop of your precious blood
Humanity must die

You purposely destroy me
Use me
Cut out my heart, bleed me dry
Leaving me bare
Then walk away as I cry
Without a care
This is not new to me
Been happening for centuries
I think I've had enough now
I'm bringing a flood to watch you drown
Then a hurricane to bury you underground

Nature was placed here to serve me
You are neither master nor lord
And you serve in humility for the betterment of man
But I, I'VE
Chosen to use and abuse what you offer
It's not for me, the delicate surgeons cut
More the slash and hack
Of the untrained butcher
Me, oh me who drains the life blood from this earth

You deserve no more of what I can offer,
I will rain hail of fury upon my precious ground
Simply to watch you suffer
With all living things, I'm naturally bound
But I will destroy the soul of me
Just to watch you die with no mercy
I AM MOTHER NATURE
You will fear me
Bow down to me
Respect me
Care for me
Or you WILL all DIE in misery
Maybe next time, humanity,
You will choose how you treat me more carefully.
Wow, Joe Cole!
What. An. Amazing. Experience!
I truly feel blessed he'd want to collaborate with me.
Hope you all enjoy mother nature's wrath.
