Under the sky at night
I feel a gentle silken air of touch.
Under the kiss of moonlight,
I poetically feel so much.

As I looked up at the roof over my head
Silent tears welled up in my eyes
Thinking of those without homes, seeking for shelter
Those whose cities were hit by a natural disaster

As I filled my stomach with food everyday
Silent tears welled up in my eyes
Thinking of those in poverty-stricken countries
Starving, fighting the hardship for centuries

As I cuddled my little one to sleep
Silent tears welled up in my eyes
Thinking of those who lost their loved ones
Due to fatal diseases or firing guns

As I lay on my bed every night
Silent tears welled up in my eyes
Remembering all the things I should be thankful for
Especially for still being able to breathe
*And so much more...

I'm anxious to feel the hugs you promise me
I'm craving all the kisses you'll give me
But most of all, I want your company
The warm, caring, and full company of your personality
No matter how annoying you think you'll be, I'm still looking forward for us to live together
There may be some fighting, and there will be
And there may be some incidents, again, there will be
But what does that matter?
I'll still be looking forward to you even when I have you
*And the Sun will have kissed your face

I walk that fine line,
that nobody knows......

I chase the visions,
that fill my mind.......

I **** the big lies,
that one tells me.....

They stare me down,
looking like a clown......

They don't know me,
and talk down to me.......

It makes me wonder,
how their life goes......

Reminding myself,
why should I care......

Losing yesterday,
finding today,
reaching my future.....

Take time in life,
to find that dream......

Find that spark,
that starts the fire.....

Keep the company,
of those who inspire you.....

Real friends in life,
will always be there....

Most importantly,
learn the real meaning of Love........

Men are mad dogs,
 women, finessed felines
we'd no sooner claw
    your eyes out
than admit you're right,
we'll undoubtedly,
without hesitation - -
use our feminine wiles,
to get our own way,
and you bloodhounds
   best get used to it
or no ***** for you
    tonight, or any given day

We've got the upper paw...MEow


And, if you're a bird dog
   well, that's a whole other story,
no telling what could happen

I go to a job where I am alone all day.
Then, I go home to where I am alone all night.

I can't tell if I enjoy being alone,
or if I am so used to it,
And I have no option but to enjoy it.

The sun sets on another day.
A family bereft and broken
A new baby birthed
A debilitating grief
A rousing celebration
A voice no longer heard
A song newly sung
A memory, so soon to fade
A future, to be filled with memories.
The moon watches over the altered earth
And tomorrow the sun will rise on another day
