Marian
There is so much pain
Hidden beneath those blue eyes
I wish I could take it all away
Yes, even your inner cries

I apologize for the bad day
I feel like I am to blame
Even though I know I'm not
And I know it will not be the same

Your blue eyes like the ocean's depth
Beckons my own blue ones
I can see the reflection of stars in them
One day the pain inside them will be gone

I would take your pain away if I could
Just to see you happy again
Mending those broken wings
With a gentle summer rain

Dedicated to my Dad, Timothy!!! ~~~~<3
He lost a few of his poems today
And seems somewhat despondent
So, I am making a special effort
To cheer him up!!! ~~~<3
I hope he likes this once he sees it!! ~~~<3

Lani Foronda
Is waiting
For an answer
When you ought to be sleeping.
The Hardest Part
Is waking up
When you should be dreaming.
The Hardest Part
Is smiling
When you feel like crying.
The Hardest Part
Is giving up
When you want to keep trying.

primal screaming
going back to babyhood
watching yourself melt
as others melt around you

come on, lets try a little relaxation
but first, change our nappies

Lost Soul
my heart was like a glass jar
and you threw it on the floor
when you told me you had to go home
but it was a lie
i know you went to see her.
you left your jacket on the couch
and its still there
i can't move it
because its like touching you
and it all becomes real again.
sometimes i just come close enough
to smell your leftover cologne.
the one that smells like musk
it smells like home to my heart
and it mends it back together
and its like your here again

Forgotten Dreams
Why?
Why do you hurt yourself?
Why?
Why must you bleed?
Why?
Why do you cry a lot?
Why?
Why do this to me?
Why?
Why can't you talk about it?
Why?
Why do you like your scars?
Why?
Why would you want to keep them?
Why?
Why do you avoid me?
Why?
Why did you do it?
Why?
Its not a poem >.< just a list of questions that should never be asked

Forgotten Dreams
It's nice to be able to forget,
and act like nothing happened.
But my memory seems to hate me,
The things I try hardest to forget haunt me,
The things I cling to seem to just slip away...

The way I told you I didn't care,
When all I wanted to do was hold you close,
And never let you leave me again...

The time you saw my scars,
How you flinched as if they hurt you,
And couldn't quite look me in the eye...

I see forgetting as a gift,
I wish I could just fall asleep,
*And forget we ever happened...

Marian
I float out to sea like driftwood
Other times I find myself windswept
Higher and higher
In autumn gusts of wind
In summertime my beautiful green skin
Is a youthfully verdant hue
I cling to this told old tree
And provide a canopy
Until one day I find myself delicate
And easy to crumble in your hands
For I have withered
When winter comes
I will become invisible
And insignificant underneath
A blanket of sparkling white snow
My life goes unnoticed and I long to be loved
But no one loves a trivial leaf like me
Yet this is my life and I am content
With being who I am
Even though I am forgotten and alone

Hilda
If dreams were tangible, dear princess, I'd give you mine
this dream where unfading echoes never die
Back a long, grassy lane, a house once white, now greying with time
set against the ***** of verdant hill, and crowded amongst a hundred soughing pines
Nearby a sundappled wood with tranquil creek and mossy stones
Ferns tall as your waist and creamy mushrooms
Beyond stretch clover scented pasture haunted by purplish dusk and
ghosts of gurnsey calves with solemn eyes

To bring a smile to your lovely face and a song to your heart.
Above a garret where silvery moonbeams dance
scented by old mothballs and books from bygone days
their yellowed pages mildewed and musty with age
Perhaps some tear stained journal from yesteryears
penned by long dead poetess, kindred spirit facing hardships like our own
listening to this same ancient wind sweeping the trees, gaunt branches scratching windowpanes as souls forlorn
yes, I would give you all this, sweet princess, if wishes had wings
just to bring a smile to your lovely face

this dream where unfading echoes never die
