The love lost will be forever enshrined
within the warmest places of my heart,
such sweet sorrow for...
wait, what's your name again???

I long for the majestic
sunset of your hair,
windblown, dancing across my cheek…
The burnt orange and lavender…
I want to consume every drop.
I’m thirsty for your
footsteps near my bed, parched with
desire for your presence—your essence.
How long until you wet my
tongue, and quench this fire?
I stalk slumber like a shadow…
my only release from the
hunger and yearning for your
moist lips, like peaches
pressed against mine.

I desire to feast upon your handsomeness,
embrace your naturalness,
your romantic nature
a place that I wish to stay
and escape inside your amazing mind.

You fill my heart
with magical sparks,
your words swirl
on my full, cool lips,
your poetry melts on my tongue,
entering my lungs.

You tease me
with your compelling melody,
your eyes shimmering
like a crystal onyx,
drawing me closer
to your delightful fragrance.

I’m lost in your velvet vessel,
rising to the beat
of your frequency,
your sexiness flowing like waves
upon my vibrantly brown skin,
longing for you to feel me completely.

To this day,
your name
still hurts my tongue
but I still say it anyway.
Sometimes I like to
hear my soul
gently tear itself
apart.

is it possible we touched?

that you spilled into me
thoughts like cigarette smoke?

silver threaded, exhaled in a rush

is it possible we spoke?

turned to whispers
the dark corners of our minds?

twined my words with your songs

is it possible we loved?

will again, you and I- immortal?

The sculptor grips her body

What she casts as a rough stone

Hes sees a blank slate of his own

Carving away the edges with his lips

Raking away the ugly that sits

Chisled hips dip deep  inside

Bringing human into lifeless eyes

Hands hold fast on last breath

Chipping away too far inside he confides

Impurities show deep and ugly he sighs

Forever leaving her half cast in stone

Mourning the sculptors warm hands on her cold skin

None will see beauty in her again
