When they go all out
to pull you down
You know you have really made an impact

How you treat me
has nothing to do with me
& everything to do with you.

I'm watching my every single step
I'm careful not to stumble and fall
One stone on the road
could lead to a landslide
And one broken bone
could ruin it all
I'm watching my every single move
I'm careful not to scare you away
The faintest blow
could lead to a hurricane
And one wrong word
could be the last thing I say.

I am wondering about the perfect love
which is the voice of my silence
the soft wind of my wings
and the blue sky of my sea

Things will get better,
Because they always do.

And things will get worse,
Because they always do.

Sometimes Starr
Somewhere a dandelion
clicks,

it starts
to put out seed pods--

A tadpole's metamorpho--
sis

reveals a little tree frog

The young one sprawls
with Shiva's love
The old one spars with Vishnu

A tree has breached the canopy,
Your crush just up and kissed you

Your capillaries dilate
Revealing what's inside
So wrinkle up your rosy face
But love, you cannot hide

And somewhere else, a songbird dies
Beside an oxbow lake
And both lay still,
And beautiful
And know the river's wake.
Emerald eyes shine,
lit by bright stars upon,
the moon is so close,
it's like it's drawn
to the street lights.
A million cars around,
beeps, drifts, signs,
but I don't mind the rush hour
if you are my ride.

You really pulled me,
In, I wasn't expecting,
You to be the one.

at the edge of night
vultures circle
the bones of another day
leaving me
one sunset
closer to my grave
After a very long day, as I watch the sun sink into the mountains, vultures wheel silently through smoky skies, circling the small Wyoming town I call home. Sometimes Nature knows exactly how I feel.
