The sea is painted by the clouds above.
As they gently drift across the sky.
Changing shades - allowing just the right amount of light
To reach the water's surface like it's a canvas.
Creating something beautiful for just a moment.
Then something even more beautiful in the next.

A painting that is still being painted
Shows no signs in ending.
As it paints a story.
From dark and stormy blues - to calm orange sunsets.
Unbiased in it's shading - reveals love at its purest.

And that is something I can admire.
For it is something I require - desire.
But I am mired by the past.
Can not pass it.
I guess my luck's expired.

I like to forget this for awhile.
So I look out and smile.
At the sea being painted by the clouds above.
Knowing I will never know this love.

Ameliorate
I hate being a woman sometimes
Ripe with blistering emotions
Falling into impossible crushes
With men completely out of your league .
Well, it's true.

Am I the only one who wonders,
what ants do all the time?
When they walk seemingly without a pattern,
do they know where they are going?
What do ants think of us, do we scare them,
or are we not importand enough to care about?
How do they communicate?
Can they be sad?
I keep thinking about the ants?
Do they ever think like this, about the flies? Or spiders, or butterflies?
Who will ever know...

No doubt it is our existence, thoughts, feelings that give rise to language. What we fail to notice is that many a time, we experience utter relief, or are thrilled on discovering a word that mirrors how you felt at a certain time, a meaning you relate to. And many a time, the relief also comes from a feeling of ‘normalcy’. ‘Normal’ enough to know that someone, somewhere, felt the same way some time, and the feeling was deemed important, common, sane enough to be granted admission to the dictionary.

She
She's like a narcotic
A fever in the blood
The need increases
The desire for more
is unquenchable

Time flies by,
But I feel like I'm standing still
There's a part of me that doesn't mind
The stressed part
That doesn't want to deal with anything.
Then there's the other part of me,
That wants to run with the time
Travel the world
And die when the time is right.
Time flies by,
And I don't want to stand still anymore.

You went on your fishing trip
Caught a big one this time,
You said.
This one's a bit heavy,
Weighed down.

With a sharp tug on the pole,
You finally retrieved your catch.
Well, what is it?,
You asked.
You held something in your hand
Pulsing and black.
Whatever it is,
It's not worth it.

You threw it back into the water,
Back into the dark depths.
Let's keep on fishing.
I wanna catch a big bass.

They say there's plenty of fish in the sea
But you didn't even notice,
When you caught my heart.
Sure,
It was beaten
Almost unrecognizable.
But it only took you a second,
To judge my darkness
As impairment,
And toss me back to a personal hell
You reeled in my heart,
And you didn't even know.

I'm sorry I can't be
**The catch of the day.

I have seen lot of magic
performers doing various tricks
spectators gaping in awe
illusions subtle and raw.
The one trick which is so old
towards which many have now turned cold
is how he placed three spinning ***** in space
distinct sized spheres running a circular race
all separated by different mile values
coming close and going away in peculiar ways,
can one day among them have such an accord
get lined up in one definite chord,
the smallest can cast such a shadow
so accurate even the brightest has to bow.
Splendid heavenly display of perfection
puts these earthly phenomenons to rest
the supreme magician at his very best.
This can only happen because of God !
and we might never able to solve this mystery

Tap, tap, tap on your little device
Do you wish to hear my insightful advice?
Look up, not down
Take a walk into town.
Throw your phone away,
you won't need it today.
Appreciate the yellows, greens, and blues
Mother Nature won't mind if you use her bed for a snooze.
Tap, tap, tap on your useless device
You ought to hear my insightful advice.
Stop damaging your eyes
There's a much bigger prize.
Be wholly alive and tough,
You'll be dead soon enough.
