I strained in my iniquity
Looking for the light
In the mist of my
darkest blackness
a voice whispered
"You have to turn and fight "
Gather up the flocks of words
Make them the sacrifice of your lips
Record what flies through the air
From the axe that's sending chips

Wisdom is what wisdom does
There's no room for shadows of delight
Let you face be baptized
Bathe upon the light

The intelligence of words makes us happy
Much more than the feelings from the heart
Offer up the sacrifice of our lips
Make it the bridge that spans the arch

Maybe my mother is like no
other
trading tears for treasures
healing my hardened heart
embracing empty eyes

Marshal Gebbie
Cast thy nostril to the air
To sense the magnitude of change,
What was then is now no more,
The atoms, rearranged.

Touch thy fingertips to life
To feel, as difference lingers there,
For what was smooth and sensuous
Now calloused, in abrasive air.

Know, that in a passaged time
The trickled sands invert their flow,
For what was once a comfort stop
Becomes an unsafe place to go.

Skill, once held in high repute
No longer wields the mantle now,
Torn the chaliced riches, worn...
Gone, the wealth of sacred cow.

Vast, the might of new elite
Emergent in its chosen time
Fallen, now the vanquished
In the tragic wayside, left behind.

Gone, is the old world
In its jaded coat of faded charm,
Reshuffled, to obscurity
Whilst surging new blood, fast rearm.

Where once, there stood a working forge
Which fashioned mighty wheels of steel,
Now shifts, a field of windblown wheat
Which cares not, one jot, what you feel?

I was walking through the desolate woods.
I saw two paths.
One was quiet, with fewer footprints,
The other filled with souls tearing each other apart.

Everyone told me to go for the deadly path,
But I chose the silent way.
Even though it was difficult,
Love and truth still lit my stay.
Path of God might seems to be the most difficult path but it is the most beautiful path ever.

~
This forbidden city
walks on water,
keeps all the undesirables at bay,
it's always a balancing act.

Oh, blighted court
of Catherine the Great,
thy friends are having a hard time,
but horsing around, no less.

Enlightened by summer drugs,
and busting out of
their tops and castles,
thongs on thy feet,
and thongs on thy bottoms,
this zenith and this nadir
come in colorful collages,
everything else is a flash of flesh.

Sped along by
frequent bloodletting,
there's a revolution in
thy teenage mind,
a looking for the hidden
and interested motives,
but no one can live
their life on the skis.

Rulership of heart is far
from recreation,
but you raised
a smile to sin,
until all we could do was
shake our heads and laugh.

Yesterday, I was nothing .
I was happy.
You pulled me down .
Treated me like trash.
It ignited a fire in me.

Now, I shine bright ,
just like the Sun .
Don't come closer
You will burn ,
In my light.

It’s an addiction, an affliction,
And I don’t know what to do,
For I am madly and deeply,
In love with Sudoku.

It’s unnerving, disturbing,
And I am going all cuckoo,
For I can’t take my hands off
A game of Sudoku.

In the morning, I’m yawning,
But my fingers are all glued,
To a pen on a Daily,
Immersed in Sudoku.

A passion, an obsession —
With numbers just a few,
Oh I can’t get enough,
Of this wretched Sudoku.

One to nine, how I pine,
For these numbers in a queue,
On my phone all I see is,
A game of Sudoku.

I run late, miss my date,
In a mess through and through,
My heart full of digits.
And head, of Sudoku.

An attraction, a distraction,
I sigh and sob and rue,
To be so in love,
With a game of Sudoku.

It gets worse, now a verse,
Such a long poem too—
Oh me, oh my,
All for Sudoku.
Written in 2014. No longer addicted but still love it. Know when to stop

My past won't protect me
My future is set to destroy me
what will I be doing now
smiling at the creations
is everything just decorations
it's all set up, and I keep my time
It's now what I do
It's in present how I be
don't fight, be at peace
I live and breathe the tranquil.

When things go awry
and forked tongues clash
it feels like lightning
striked the trash.

Will
Darkling, folded in absentia,
Eye-wandering through incorporeal portals–

Now a smile,
heretical and broad
as her the sun’s lonely gates.
