Forced sentiments,
Faked smiles,
There are many black coal mines,
Don't cry dear,
That's not brave ones choice.
Lurk those scars,
For the false pride.
Raspy barks,
The world is dark,

Accordingly,
Maybe that right,
Is wrong for society.
The whole teen's gone,
In this perilous cry,

Science got it wrong

Science may say that
something can’t be itself and its opposite
at the same time
But
I’ve seen

I’ve seen kindness and honesty in every other soul
Helping hands and helpful smiles
But I also saw lies and resentment
And at least 7 of them, on everyone

And I’ve seen nature and it’s beauty
It’s sunrises and it’s pristine waters
But I also saw loved ones being taken by time
And illnesses bending people low

I’ve seen our walls protect some from hunger and fear
And I’ve seen our dances and songs
But I also saw, people on the streets with drug withdrawal
And no one seemingly cared

What is
What there is to be
If not a dance of opposites
Throughout eternity

Lone Wolf

There are plenty of people
who push others away,
who say that
they're fine being a lone wolf,
but even wolves in the wild
who leave their pack
go off to find a mate
and sow the seeds
to start their own family,
they still surround
themselves with others.
Lone wolves don't actually exist,
only the idea of it,
so if wolves need others
in order to survive,
then why don't people?
