Ayn
False whispers
Sounding alarms,
Poisoning the will;
Drowning the ill.

Pulling you down
Just to push you up,
And burrow inside you,
To be a viciously vicarious
Vile remnant
Of whats long gone.
The sunshine‘s lost behind the clouds
It can’t seem to break through
Hindered by the gloom and doom
On a dreary afternoon
Specks of light now shines past
In little rays of hope
Like strings of yarn from high above
Twisted like a rope
Pulled closer to it’s orifice
Peeking out some more
Finding different avenues
For it to explore
Standing on the presuppose
Of Gods golden shore
Waiting for the blistering sun
To open the sky door
Let itself get noticed
It’s presence felt and warm
Fighting off the rain clouds
Brewing up a storm
With hopes to see a nicer day
In what some may call “the norm”

Fearless
Seek ye first His Kingdom
and that's when you will find
all those other things you chase
that run around your mind
they really do not matter
this life is but a breath
and when you die at the end
you will have nothing left
but if you seek His Kingdom
and store treasure up above
instead of struggling alone
you can rely upon His love
if you look upon this life
as a foundation for the rest
and work as hard as you can now
in eternity you'll be blessed
We think retirement happens
around when we turn 62
but what if it happens when we die
and we don't have a clue
are we not willing to risk
a few years when old and grey
for an eternity of joy and fun
that makes this life look like one day?

Pine needles in my head
Snowbird starts to fly
A want of apricity
Enters my blood stream
Like lukewarm sea water
Enters hiemal streams
I'm sprawled facedown
An angel or so
Below the snow
The taste of frost
Technically wintergreen
From your breathy kiss
Hinting at a return
To rays of affection
And the crush of limbs
