Stained Glass
Some say don't burn your bridges.
I say, if necessary, let the kerosene kiss it on the lips & watch it turn to ash.
There's always more than one way to cross the water.

Carnations are red
Violets are blue
I’m a rainbow kid
Hope you are one too.

what i love about poetry

poetry doesn't talk
or converse

it yells, screams
simmers, caresses
electrifies, vivifies
soars, carries, raps
pampers, wraps
dreams, dances
laments, soothes
embraces, catapoults
the truth, the
zoetic gold
of the heart

even if tainted, alloyed,
buried, misshapen,
domesticated,
melted, newly formed

the gold,
if you dare

read it,
if you dare

wear it
unveils the
24 karat
jewelry of the
human heart
thank you HP

It rained that night
after we kissed
You closed your eyes
lucid dreamt our life
I stayed awake

Terrified
dream awake rain night eyes terrified kiss love life close lucid

Old habits smoulder in the secret places in my heart
Like a pack of unlit cigarettes stashed under the bed
Cancer waiting to spread and ignite desires
Oh how I love these wrong desires
Just a sip until I drown
Just a flame til I burn down
//On addiction//

I'm okay. But my demons want me to come out and play.
