I love you
simply

because I have paid the price

you are
simply
Mine

there was nothing simple about the price that was paid...or the value of us    to the One who paid it

Jesus knows us by our name
He knows us and loves us
He doesn't blame
The way we are in our lives
He wants to help and hold us
In arms of tenderness with His love
We are His children, longing to hear
When we call on His name to heal
To forgive in mercy to bring us
To the throne of power
He's always with us, always
Walking beside us to heal
Every sorrow that comes
Every heartache that lingers
Before His mercy, His love for us
He's always Jesus, majesty, glory

I believe in GOD
And I praise Him!
His greatness can not be understood.
No matter where life takes me my hope lies in Him alone.
I'm hopeless without His grace and mercies.
I thank Him daily because He's worthy of all the praise.
There's no one like Jesus Christ.

To whom else shall I shout praises?
To whom else shall I give my soul?

In my cries of desperation
and in the throes of agony
I shall bow to none but you O Lord!

For you have made me,
loved me
You alone have saved me
from the pain
of Satan's grasp
You have freed me.

There is none but you Lord
who gives life to the roaring ocean
Your majesty is proven
in the crashing waves.

There is nowhere to hide
from the majesty of the Lord
His gracious arm reaches all
even those who cry
none are spared from His glory.
I wrote this in a mental hospital a while ago so don't hate.
Stay tuned for more of this kind of ****** writing, coming to the internet near you soon!

What love, what power
What goodness and mercy
What hope does this world have
In the love of Jesus
What majesty in the way
Of our Saviour
The glory that reaches out
Throughout this world
With the wonder of Jesus
Forever He is the only
Greatness in love He stands
The love we see, the wonders
The beauty that is in this world
To behold and to claim as a gift
From our Father
What love, what hope in the promise
We have in the name of Jesus
What joy fills the hearts that are broken
In need of redemption and forgiveness
As well
What covers this world with a purity
With power to keep and restore us forever
What love we have in the name of Jesus
He is the only God of our souls

When we stumble and we fall
When we need a hand to pick us up
Jesus, comes and lifts us up
Jesus knows, Jesus hears and He cares
He sees the pain we have in our hearts
The burdens we carry and our troubles He shares
He longs to hold and carry our heartaches
He knows, yes, Jesus knows and He cares
Bring your cares to the foot of the throne
The place of His mercy
Leave them there and be comforted knowing
Everything that we give to Jesus
Is healed within us
Jesus knows, with His power and love
The victory is His

Where do I go...
when I feel so alone.
Where do I run...
when grief's tears overcome.
Where do I turn...
when it looks like the end.
Cling to Him.
Cling to Him.
And let Him love me.
Until I am undone.
---No one can ever love me the way Jesus does.  His love is incomprehensible, eternal, passionate, jealous, and unfailing. I am so thankful that He relentlessly pursues me, until I finally surrender and let Him love me.

How God
loves us
Be patient
as God's love
grows
within us
as He teaches us
how
to love

as we choose to act
in loving ways
the emotions
will follow

we will find
our love
will be
returned...

I do not want an old man God sat in a throne,
Judging from afar with sceptre and gold
riding on a cloud, sombre and haloed,
stern faced, woolly warm beard stroking,
Michelangelo-esque nighty clad, run of the mill deity.

I do not want a Sunday morning liturgy reference God,
inhabiting musty buildings, documented within dusty books, out dated, out rated, out of duty once a week
(twice if you include the mid-week bible study),
appeasing a sick relative, reluctant, habit God.

I do not want a jolly nodding head back shelf of the car job, kitsch icon, only when it suits me, pocket amenity,
fashion accessory, hobby gimmick God; a God modelled
from routine and agenda and TV evangelism, a convenience style digestible man made allusion.

I don’t want a controlling egomaniac parent God, bent on
setting us unattainable goals and tasks then throwing
a tantrum when the model train set breaks; or a God
who is distant, self-righteous, passive and out of touch,
an elusive, reclusive, exclusive God,

I want an ‘I Am who I Am’ God, whose boundaries are so
immense that to trace them would destroy you. A God
who is completely indefinable, that every brushstroke
put to canvas, every conceivable melody whistled, that
every imaginable word uttered, would barely compare.

I want a God who to stand before would burn my eyes out, make my heart explode; that I would be totally devastated. Yet, a God who is approachable and approaches, a God who is in the here and now, surrounding, dumbfounding, astounding, a God with promise and hope you can taste.

A God who breaks all the boundaries and exceeds every
human expectation and limitation, a God who hears and feels every longing, every desire and creates opportunity,
empowering the heart that cries out, stilling the soul when it aches, a God of promise and hope and deliverance.

I want a God unlike any parent, friend, lover, sovereign, reckless in compassion and filthy with goodness, available and ever there. So dangerously loving, so excessively wise and firm, yet tender, knowing, emotive, compassionate, A God who takes my grief. A God asking to be found and worth being sought.
I feel it coming on the breeze…

A wealth of shivers
Renews my identity
Harsh like a torrent
Licking my misery

Call it a balm
I call it “anemology”
Uncovering the ignorance in me

What can renovate the heartless
Still morgue strung with darkness?
None but breeze
None but Serenity
Sway the trees
And uncover the forest of me

Turbines on the hill
Bend me to Your will
Childlike branches
Snap like evergreens
They bumble and burn
To tumble and turn

Call it a mystery
I call it “delivery”
Uncovering Wasteland me

My arms are pumice
My feet are clay
I fall from malice
A thousand times a day
None but breeze
Can refresh my fidelity
None but breeze
Brings me to my knees

Call it the calm
I call it “Sovereignty”
Uncovering the darkness in me

I feel it coming on the breeze
The freedom of recovery
Will be included on my upcoming acoustic worship demo EP "Prelude to Renovation"

Lord, thank You for patience with me
Thank You for sacrificing Your Son
Whose patience has given the
Endurance of setting sinners free
I will "Lift up mine eyes"
And forever see
The lesson of patience as a challenge for me
Jesus was patient from the beginning and
Patient with us until His last day
His steadfastness to teach us His Fathers way

In goodness and mercy
Who conquers the foe
Look to the One is over all
