i've never loved a pair of blue eyes
just seas of green and everything in between

i've never been a part of something larger
just floating around in an endless harbor

i've never laughed with such conviction
accompanied with the feeling of a bare existence

i've never chosen to be loved so easily
but with you it comes so peacefully

You are
    memorable
       to me
              and
        I was
          probably
                      just
          another face
                in the crowd
            for you.

It's like a stab in the heart
it's like rain on a new budding flower
it's like a hurricane on a summer day
it's like a tornado over lunch on Sunday

It's like thorns on a rose
it's like a paper cut on your finger
it's like a burn on your body
it's like a "NO" to an excited "please"

It's bound to happen,
you can evade such days
that hurricane will bring sunshine
that stab will heal into a beautiful scar
that budding flower will bloom more gorgeous than any
it
just
needs
a proper
dose
of
Patience..

Hang in there
it's a virtue
they say
let it
be
one of
yours
Deep in the creek
where speckled light kisses the saline shore
and mud hole bubbles leave crab trails
I knock upon her door.

She opens with a whisper on her skin
licks my **** with her southern tongue
winds rise the dusts within
the mangrove falls quiet to her moaning song.

Allow me to put my head on your chest... then BREATHE.

Recite to me your poetry so I can hear it reverberate against my ear...

I can already tell it will be in perfect rhythm with your

*HEART.
Another poem written with my speech prompter. I really like the style!

i pity words
because words try
they try to communicate in the most intimate way possible
having all these different words pertaining to different degrees of emotions, feelings.
And by having different genres,
like being descriptive, scientific, or conversational,
but it’s always unto the ability of two people:
the conveyor,
if the words would come off strong, or strong enough
or nonchalant, or nonchalant enough
and
the receptor,
if the words are to be processed, understood, wholeheartedly
or to come in one way and out the other
and it’s always different.

you see,
words try, but they’re a medium,
and there are other avenues of expressing ones emotions,
those of which are underlying,
which can’t be articulated.
when you speak words,
it contains tone, diction, and emphasis,
which printed words try to mimic
by various styles like
italics, bold, or underlines,
but they can never quite imitate
shifting eyes, twitches
the waver in your voice, it’s depth,
you, running your hand through your hair,
or having fidgety fingers,
and your legs never seem to stop shaking.
All of this steals the spotlight off of words,
and I wonder, what do all of these things mean?

they told me
it would be too late
to see the midnight stars

and they told me
not to wait because
the stars would never change

and they shamed me
when i did not budge
but sat with my friend Hope

yet now i am grown
and perhaps i should tell them
that at midnight
the stars proved them wrong

I still think about you all the time-
your perfect features and graceful soul.
Your absence and emptiness
leaves me full.

Your gracious Light extends
You have Healed my brokenness
On You I can depend
You touched my pain with Loving Hands
Anointing hurts and woes
It's like a warm embrace and kiss
And Love that OVERFLOWS!
Thank you for what You have done
The Healing You have wrought
This kind of Restoration
Can't be obtained or bought
I need no Hydrocodone
I have no need for pills
I have my Balm of Gilead

And I ALWAYS WILL!

I can scarcely believe this!
I had two broken molars extracted
yesterday. Infection in my jaw...
... and woke up this morning... NO PAIN!

I DON'T EVEN NEED THE PAIN MEDS!!!

The Healing Balm of Gilead is the Touch
of Jesus Christ Himself! He came to me
yesterday before the surgery like a thought
in my mind. He said if I was brave and
went through with the surgery courageously he would BLESS ME. I had NO idea what form that blessing would take. NOW I KNOW! I called the surgery office to let them know about the numbness, I thought it was unusual.
The dental assistant said it was a speed up of the healing process. She had no explanation for it! BUT I KNOW!

Thank you all for your patience with me.
I have read very little of late.
God willing I WILL TODAY!

-
Lord make me an angel,
To watch over my loved ones,
Give me a rainbow robe to shine bright for the hopeless,
Adorn me with a crown to give light to those in darkness,
Give me wings to rescue the helpless,
And a voice of gold to sing to those that need comfort,
Don't bury me till I get my first kiss,
Till I **** a serpent at first hiss,
And I'm no longer a miss.
If I die young,
Still make me live.
