familiar with all weather
broken rims of existence
soliloquies of despair
rainfall in silence

ripples of loud mirth
echoes of joyous feet
stillness of nightly earth
tunes of bitter sweet

romance of blind hearts
oaths of porcelain
stains of leftovers
fragments of bruised skin

lying in broken stones
living on river's face
nothing the ghat owns
but its loneliness.

i want you to know, the poem you wrote
it really touched my heart
did you have an idea when you wrote it
that it would be the spark
to lighten up the inner flame
that would brighten up my dark
a poem that touched my very soul
and left on it, it's mark

did you know the words you chose
brought me to my knees
and that those very words you chose
were at that moment what i needed
they caused the clouds to separate
and the sun to shine on me
the words you chose
swung wide open the closed
door in front of me

i just wanted you to know
about the poem you wrote
Going through some older writes and chanced upon this one...still stands true! Thank you to everyone who has touched me with your wonderful poetry!
i twist and i turn
fast within life's chrysalis
developing wings

The Children Pick up bones,
like its where our leftover emotions,
will hold the memories for us,

for them, They are quick as foxes,
as we used to be,
as autumn finally came,

These Children sniff the wind,
Smelling the Frost from within,
But for now they smell the sharp grape sent,

and that at least is still left,
For the children pick up our bones,
We Left much more,

The Children pick up our bones,
and see what we saw,
the stars gaze, the clouds,

from the roofs of our house,
or beyond when locked up inside,
the Sent of the windy sky, blew though,

The Children Pick up our bones,
to be educated on our driven to despair,
our lack of, because we know whats to come,

Children Please listen up,
you will speak our speech,
and never know,

Our spirits left behind,
a storm brewing in the walls,
waiting to strike,

Destruction to the house,
the the rest of the world to come next,
with you, children left in the shadows,

left out in the dust, able to fix destruction,
by seeing past the clouds,
and smear the world in a gold like the sun,
my interpretation/ rewrite*kindsorta* of a postcard from the volcano by Wallace Stevens

I am doing a report on Wallace Stevens for one of my classes and that one poem I loved and when I wrote his/my interpretation on the side it was a poem so of course I had to post it.

Forgive me dearest for my childlike ways;
Those dormant traits which never seem to die.
Forgive my foolishness and futile days,
Although when seized how quickly seem to fly!
A word well intended uttered in haste;
A cup of cold water spilling as tears.
Each dream shattered as days blend into waste.
Unspoken thoughts hampered by icy fears.
Nor am I gifted with spirit mature
Able to gratify impulse or whim.
Some enjoy life so capable and sure
Untainted by cold nature's hand so grim.
Thus musing upon grey veiled tomorrow
May we refrain from worry to borrow.

Feasting table under a shading tree
Swaddling robe that warmly cleans
Mirror beautifying while it reflects
Sword that pierces yet never rejects
Light penetrating the blackest hole
Water filling and healing the soul

"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

"Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."

~ Hebrews 4:12-16

I was at the breaking point,
There were nowhere to turn.
I was headed for the furnace.
And I was sure to burn.

The sinful life I had lived
Was coming to an end,
When a shower came from heaven
And restored my life again.

When I lost my train of thought,
It was hard for me to see,
But the world is slowly turning,
And it's not gonna stop for me.

I can hear a ship coming,
Powered by the Lord.
It's headed for his kingdom,
And I want to be on board.

I've been to other places,
But God has brought me back.
Now I want to go to heaven,
To see what that is like.

His greatness, His glory
Hope for the wonder of
Jesus hears us when
We call His name

His mercy to find us
His joy overwhelming
With peace rejoicing
Jesus is all I need

No storm of life lasts
No worries take hold
Life can be bold
Jesus is all I need

His power if greater
He is the victory
Jesus is holding the power
Of His wonders and glory

His greatness to follow
His life is a promise
Of taking us home to
Live in heaven with Him

I hear you, Jesus, I hear you
I know you call me by my name

I trust you Jesus, I love you, Jesus
You are the glory and hope

You are the answer this world
Is in need of

Trusting and looking boldly
With prayers to you, Jesus

Sufficient in every day
That I live

I hear you, Jesus
I long for you

I look up to Jesus
With faith and with pride

No other one is a power
To goodness and mercy

Walking in trust with Jesus
Confident of His arms holding me

I look at myself in the mirror,
Disgusted by what I see.
Every time that you get nearer,
Is an unsolved mystery

You left me in the rain,
All alone and scared.
I dealt with all the pain,
From the love that we once shared.

My days and nights are mixed,
I can't stand another day.
It's something you can't fix,
With something that you say.

This ticking time bomb can't wait,
It will explode any minute.
If it is what it is then it's fate,
And neither of us will win it.
We need to,          LOVE           while we still can

I get this funny feeling way down deep inside.
My hands begin to shake whenever she walks by.
My heart begins to pound.
My head begins to whir.
Each and every time I even get near her.
I keep asking myself why I can't even say one word.
My mouth begins to open but my words come out all slurred.
It's really no big secret that I have the biggest crush.
everybody knows somehow that I might be in love.
I need to tell her before its to late.
I'm happy!
Not because everythings fine but because I'm alive,
And life itself is hope enough!
I'm happy because its a new day,
I'm happy because I'm able to write
I'm happy because I know people who love me
I'm happy because life spent upset is wasted,
I'm happy because no matter what happens to me,time brings all things to pass and life goes on.
So many reasons to be happy, you only need to count your joy and you'll realise that the good things are more than the bad.
