we spent a night on shores,
sand running through shell,
you touched me soft gently
green waves rolling out and
in the night we talked evers
to now of always soon come
deep, longs until slow, tears
fell in drops from break sky,
it seemed all time was new
and white birds flying over,
how they sailed with moon
smiling as truth smiling out
beyond a light sea of night,
our love then forever young
and curtains lifted the stars,
fell waysides into the dawn,
our faces golden in the sun.

beth fwoah dream
golden streams of sun
sink, unwrap, dance,
melt into the trees
like honeycomb,
silver the ground
with their tender warmth.
the day is dying but so gently
that the shadows can only lengthen
dreaming their dreams of the night.

There is a sense of timelessness in the twilight
Of time standing still and extending into the infinite
Of sadness and hope
Of yearning and satisfaction
Of unrest and peace
Where time has no meaning and
the mundane melts away into the symphony of colours in the sky..

..and your eyes follow the fading light and your soul knows its purpose once again..

Can you Imagine*
This passion we share
Thunder clapping
As I clasped you hair
The light from above
Lightning strikes deep
****** in unison
Pleasure so deep
Eyes locked in focus
Sweet kisses we reap
Air shared in abundance
Snuggled spooning complete

Feel us enter
A love that's so rare
Hearts beat together
Together as one
Whispering forever
True love never ends
Brushing your hair softly
Fingers to cheek
Closeness of bodies
Drift off to sleep
Good-night
Sweet dreams
Just when you are thinking you don't deserve true love and a happy ending... Hope arrives.

The mistrial winds come
Blowing fiercely from every direction
As storms brewing
Reaching our ships
Filling the sails of division
Attempts to chart the course
In different directions
I tie my ship to yours
Lower my mast and drift
Along with you
For it is never
One plus one equals two
True love is two equals one
Throw up the rope
I shall tie it tight
Around me
Feel free and drift along with me
The winds are but a window
Taking place together
We shall always
Survive all storms
As the story unfolds
Looking into the mirror
We see our ships are but one
Breathing me in
I am the sails of you
As you are mine
The math of true love; It is not one plus one equals two, rather two are the hearts of one.

You could say she was classless like a Marxist utopia.
From a recent encounter. First attempt at a ten word poem.

A Minds Library

There is a library in my mind
Books a million
Words a billion
Thoughts a trillion
Yet there is only one heart
One love
A single whisper
It calls to me
Your name {add it here}
Our life
A singularity of two
And this my love
Will always be you
From my mind to the keyboard this is my world (10w)

From my mind to the keyboard
words that do spill
quill to paper
cursive sureal
imagination stirring
fantasy abounds
a bird sings from pine
flowers I do smell
a jet flying high above
white plumes it makes
writing letters to gods
on clouds they do lay
Suddenly and without reason I write.

and told my 5-year old self
what's been happening to me lately
I bet he would look into my eyes
jump out of that hospital bed
and cry with joy and laughter

I would've told him
that he finally made friends, the ones he has always dreamed of
That he was able to run and touch his toes
and try out all kinds of sports
That he was able to ride a bike, drive a car
and traveled to all sorts of places
That he was able to meet and talk to all sorts of people

That he was able to celebrate an unknown feeling to him called "Love"
That he was able to gaze upon such people and to feel and understand love
That he fell in love with someone who he'd never thought he'd be in love with
That he fell in love, fought, lost and loved again

If I were able to see my 5-year old self
I would look at him with teary eyes saying
"You will be happy"
What would you say to your 5-year old self?
What kind of story will you tell him/her about her life? :)

Tell me this isn't where you want to be,
with the wind in your face
and the sun's warm embrace.

Tell me this isn't where you want to be,
with your feet in the sea,
and the waves in calm reverie.

Tell me this isn't where you want to be,
with your voice spilling over the mountainside
and that light, giddy feeling you feel inside.

we're all human in this place.
All lives matter.
There is no exception."

"Make that phone call, go somewhere you've never been before, explore, discover, tell someone you love them, get rejected, learn to love again, or love them regardless, try harder, be the best you can be, eat the food you've been craving for, write that novel-
Embrace.
Your.
Dreams."

"I am a fool for neglecting the things in life that matter most, but you- you can still protect what’s important to you, to embrace them softly, while letting them know that you will never let them go."
