Sometimes stories don't conclude
They simply evolve
A chipmunk will never be satisfied
So the story will simply evolve.

As it turns out
Hope was not unwarranted
There is always a better day
Eventually.

At least once a day
The chipmunk returns
Shivering in the cold
Alone and afraid
But determined
Hopeful for a better day ahead
