The kind of words I love to read
Are words that inspire
Words that spark an ember
That flashes into a fire

Words that encourage
And words that edify
Are easy on the mind
And pleasing to the eye

Words that are motivating
Within their ebb and flow
Can be to someone transformative
As they forward go

A word of optimisim
Can bring forth a clearer view
And be so very refreshing
When you think it could be true

We should always guard our mind
Against negative word intrusion
Allowing only what builds up
To have in our mind inclusion

Every word we read affects our life
In the context of its composition
For all words read hold the power
For mind and thought transition

Twinkle
Each day is a new day
Trials and temptations
come my way
Each day I battle my demons
Monsters clawing out my closet
I am not perfect, I am not divine
I can hardly claim to be sane
I can remotely proclaim
To be his true child
Yet the Father,
loves me for his own

For those who think
Religion is obfuscate
God knows no religion
HE IS LOVE ABOVE ALL
I know this eternal truth,
because in my heart it resounds

His eyes all seeing
Your sighs are not unnoticed
Your soul bare before him
Every threat and torment
Right from ground zero
He knows you so profound

Yet he chooses not to judge you
Your own makings often trap you
The guilt you feel in your soul
Is the longing to be restored

Reasons of your behaviour
To your may appear sound
To him your logic is profane
In human reality ground

Yet in all His omnipresence
Your free will to Him is sacred.
This Father alone is the one
Who knows to make you strong
His loving nature hands you tests
Life's precious lessons follow
He know experience is a great teacher
Else slothful you'll grow.

So when I know my Father's Heart
I'll put my heart and soul
To get up just once again
knowing my heavenly goal
His loving lessons I will learn
Bear the bruises on my soul
In the bargain stronger I'll become
His grace I will earn

My Saviour is my model
Thrice tripped He persevered
He kept forging up ahead.
Despite His enemies jeers
He beckons now with assurance
Don't give before your state
Heaven's shore is not far away
Just try once again!
I love you Jesus and will never give up on myself, for you alone, I'll try every time to be closer and love everyone like you do.

eunsung aka Silas
the cicadas are singing
and the cats stare in quiet contemplation

a cool breeze passes through our window
and my heart perks at the sound of  your foot steps

love is knowing your steps
and greeting the rhythm of your breath
with wonder and gratitude

Cold, bitter breezes sting my face
The moon looks blankly from up above
The stars twinkle in the sky
Wolves howl from far away
In the unattainable distance
The lullaby of the nearby creek
Gives to me sweet riparian dreams
And hushed me to sleep
Covering me with darkness
And blanketing me with a veil of mist

Within our nation today
Political correctness says no moral standard exist
As a Christian I say it does
But this truth the world resist

If there is no moral standard
And no gauge of right or wrong
Is it "Do whatever you wish"?
As through life you travel on

Set your own height of your acceptance
Your own level of integrity
What it be it does not matter
Or even if it contains honesty

It is so sad for our society
And a detriment to our culture
That so many believe in no moral standard
What then will be our future?

I obey the Ten Commandments
And for my wrongs only I am liable
The truth is written for all to see
Our moral standard is set by the Bible

echo
the thing is, I go to find 'life'
in the stupidest places
(like the fridge - seriously?)
and once I've emptied them
I'm still not full -
I've still not come to Life
because its You.

1 Corinthians 1:18
For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing,
but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

All it is the world can see
Is a man dying uselessly on a shameful tree
If he really had thought it out
He probably could have saved himself

And you know what is a crying shame?
These fools that continually bring up his name
All this happened so long ago
Can't they just leave well enough alone
.......................................................................
The cross for us that have been saved
Is the power of God from beyond the grave
There is nothing more thought out as well
That can bring those back from the gates of Hell

So it's to the cross that we must turn
Putting back together what the worlds undone
Foolishness I'm sure to a dying world
**But to those who see they have a need it is the cure
Keep them close hold them tight
with them be as long you can
love them whole day and night
life is too brief a span!

Bonds are fragile time merciless
frail is the bridging link
fleeting are moments of small happiness
go would they all in a wink!

Keep them to you as long you can
give them the all you own
fill as much this short span
love them not leave them alone!

Days wear out past comes fast
forever is a figment of solace
love them hard so long they last
treasure them in warm embrace!

O what heights you have reached
Green  little Leaf
But soon the seasons change
And you will fall to me

Now, I cannot touch you
I can only look and see
It is sad that you must die
Before you will come to me

You know not I watch
In the summers breeze I have seen you dance
There high upon your stage
You sway and you prance

You posses such beauty
Up there close to heavens stars
Just a simple little Leaf
But I love you as you are

I want to hold you , Leaf
But out of reach you reside
I long to gently touch you
Before it is you die.

In some early mornings dawn
When father time has brought the fall
Have you walked among the hardwoods
And below the oaks so tall

Have you stepped upon the leaves
Of orange and red and brown
Have you felt the breeze so cool
That gently brings them down

Have you heard the morning chatter
Of squirrels in the wind
And the chorus of a cardinal
As the day begins

Have you watched as the sun
Turns the sky from dark to blue
Or the honking sound of geese
As overhead they flew

There is such beauty in a woodland
On a quiet cool fall morning
A perfect place to be
A place to be returning
Just thinking about and anticipating the arrival of Fall,
"Thank you Lord for the changes in the seasons".

Have you ever heard ,
Listening to natures sounds,
GOD speak to you,
From heavens hallowed ground ?

The Lord your God has come to bring life not to destroy it.
He has come to give true Hope a true life for each of us.
He did not come to bring destruction  nor death to us.
But draw us to him to live fully in his Spirit, to reveal him.
So that others may have life with him as well as us.
Fear not the Lord is on our sides, all that we have to do.
Is to cry out to him in prayer , it is that simple.
Then rely on him to finish his work within us to trust him.
