Your smile
tastes of mint smoke.
It’s refreshing
against the taste of my tears
and the drink you gave me
to stop them.
Your eyes
trace their way down
my body
seeing
knowing
touching
every little sweet spot
long forgotten.
Your hands
melt into mine;
a connection revisited.
And for a moment
I see in your gaze
that (love lust longing) we shared.
I blink
and it is gone
in the moonlight
and blinking light
from your clock.
So I close my eyes
and let the smell of tobacco
in your hair
and the smile against my lips
bring me
to a dark connection
I know far too well.
We can be together.
Just one more time.
Just for tonight.

I watch as the sun dances on the water, under the bluest sky.  No twirling clouds in the breeze above.  No shadows block the sun.  Twinkling stars in the afternoon hang around to dance all night.  The sparkling onyx water takes the hand of the moon and is serenaded by the night sky in all its illustrious splendor.

Fluttering lights sway
Music unheard leads the dance
As heartbeats keep time

In the heat of the day through midnight shades of navy, the ocean laps the shore. Beckoning ever so gently.  With each passing joyous tango, the force rises until it demands your company.  Until you learn to dance in all your glory.  To be one in the night and be bare in the sun.  To reflect the good around you and let it shine down and make you free.  Still, I sit and watch the water dance.

oh, really? are you really, rolling
on
the
floor
laughing?

I'd so love to see that...

I bent at the waist
to pluck a flower
and fell into
the sun-warmed grass.
There was laughter
in his kiss
as he tucked that flower
into my hair.
I was anointed
queen of the meadow
goddess of sunlight
and flowers
empress of summertime.
His fingers brushed by
electric against
my blood-rushed cheeks
and I closed my eyes
for just a moment
and forgot
that those same fingers
had left their mark
with screams
and bruises.
I gave it up
for a kiss
and that beautiful smile.
It was
worth it.
He
was worth
everything.

It's so hard to say good bye,
Sad to realise some friendships die.
Knowing you were there for me,
Makes the future easier to see.
All the memories left behind,
Will always be captred in my mind.

Ha! and I had hopes
for a better ending.

Placing my hand on the window pane, I felt it knocking
outside, as the rain ****** buckets and washed my car.
Every few seconds, the sky was talking,
but I would never let it in.

I stepped down into a dour acceptance
and bought a moderately-priced raincoat.
The spitting sky would never cease
And I began to imagine which items I owned could float.

I wished I chose swimming lessons over piano,
but at least because of it I had one.
I figured it might become a useful raft
if indeed no one ever again sees the sun.

How much water can fit under the sky? I wondered,
and at what depth will my body finally rest?
I realized I hadn't the time to consider intangibles
or to issue to God any vague, indirect requests.

I pressed my forehead against the glass, just stop!
There was a moat between houses now,
with pets and telephone poles and trees as islands.
The chill of cataclysm began to freeze my brow.

Later on my roof wearing my raincoat I daydreamed
about the things I loved underneath the silvery-grey.
I waved to my neighbor and he sadly waved back,
and I held up my glass of wine and watched the world wash away.
In a few years to come
A calendar is soon to end
The light of day will be suffocated by darkness
Haltering all brand new life
Bringing the Mother Ship to falter at the knees
A destined turmoil caused by catastrophic times
The hands of twisted fate are drawing near
World destruction nearing our footsteps
Along shadowy pathways of smoldering smoke
Billowing inward on plains of existence
Trampling atmospherical empires
Closing out realms of perseverance
Kharma may be ravishing in her ***** like ways
Childs Play in comparison to the putrid behavior of Mother Nature
Her promises of vengeful wrath
Unbearable to withstand her deceitful ways
Typhoons aiming to destroy harbouring lands
Earthquakes swallowing Kingdoms
Her ill fated disease blanketing valleys of bowling greens
The nightmare will embark upon us all

An intricate
web of limbs
Hey there Slim
Tall drink of water
Let's go farther
Blurry vision
Pants unzip
The point in the night
You don't give a ****
It's sorta ****** up
I like you so much
Gettin' crushed
by a crush
Make my heart mush
rooms got me high
Like a falling airplane
Balance is lost in the sky
Bye bye birdie
Have you heard the word
It's not sober
this love
I flew the coop
Doesn't take a sleuth
to see
I’m trippin'
my balance is shakin
I'm floating
on false realities
Fake hopes for
you and me
One night stands
What's your name again?
Mary Jane is all I can remember
Suddenly skin feels like December
Everything turned sour
A foggy wasted hour
One flew
Over the cuckoo’s nest
And She never came back again

It's a mental ******
Chase it
with some whiskey
wine and dine
on an alcoholic's appetite
A mental fight
It's wrong!
It's right!
My drink
A sanctuary
2 am and nothing means ****
I'm havin' a fit
Jim Beam, My main man
Kick with him
Catch it with nets I can
Worries disappear
With Captain's there's nothin' to fear
Can you hear
troubles fading away?
Problems that were
the rave of the day
No more
(No longer a do-right)
of what it's like to feel real
kneel at the uh-oh toilet
until upset subsides
All the pain of surprise
How can life be so unfair?
Do I care
anymore?
My loved ones turned to folklore
Bathe in the galore
of false realities
Am I me
or the person I chose to be?
After endless rounds of Jose Cuervo
Did I lose count? I count it
amongst my friends.
He's the only man
that's been there.
Are we square?
Tequila, my companion
of the day
Throw all your cares away
Hakuna Matata
what a wonderful stage
to come to
Kissin' the bottle
Lovin' the liquor
Runnin' down the throat
Tryin' to feel it quicker
Drunk and Happy
because life is a world away
Issues?
You don't need tissues
with beer as company
Lonely, doesn't mean a thing
and company is a closer fantasy
The smoke from a cigarette
the hit you can't quit
Bad habits
Carrots for rabbits
and nothin' feels as **** good
like ***** and nicotine
makes me lean and mean
ready for anything
Lickin' the sin off my chin
Party hardy
All fun with Bacardi
I can handle it
and down the rest of my ****
Until it's 11 a.m. the next day
late for work again
Maybe, I'm okay
It's meant to be, Eve
and her apple
Temptation's frustration
See? It's destiny
This poison and me
Crack, a poor man's coke
Jack, a poor girl's hope

Life is so short, Life is so sweet
It is a real pity, That some people sleep on the street
You see them in alleys, You see them in parks
The ones whose lives  Have got no more spark
They say they are dead beats, The **** of the earth
But were they really like that, Right from their birth
They used to be happy, They used to be gay
They even had a Christmas and a happy birthday
But now their  a loner and who the hell cares
For people just spit or stand there and stare
But the loner just thinks, He's still got his mind
Just look in the mirror and see what 'you' dare find
Now years have past and the loner is dead
But there in his place, Now let it be said
Is the one who walked passed and he just spat
Justice or not, Is 'that' *** for Tat
I wrote this poem dedicated to all the homeless people in the world.

I don't support this war,
but I don't have the key to this
government's door.
Even if I did they'd throw my opinions
to the Congress' janitor's floor
because the fruits of their heart
are rotten
right down to the core.

Do we even know anymore what we're fighting for?

And sometimes...
I feel like I can't speak,
can't say what I think.
The country I loved
is choking me.

On this war is spent billions and what for?
They could be,
should be
doing something
                  something more
Maybe, just maybe, feeding the poor?
Creating health insurance middle class and below can afford?

Our politicians are prostitutes, they're tainting our youth.

The unemployment line
keeps growing in size.
The cookie is crumbling,
This Nation's economy.

We need a Revolution.
Find the solution.
So LOOK
my generation and SEE
the bigger picture,
what's going on out there
and start to care.

Recycle you paper.
Refresh your beliefs.
Take my hand
and make a Stand with me.

Mr. Moronic,
you know who you are.
You don't speak for me.
Only wealthy companies.

And your most elite supporters
I want to know
is it for ***** money?
or something worse?

We are suppose to be your people.
You treat us like neglected pets.
What will come next?

You won't take way my choice.
You won't take away my voice.
So go ahead, burn me like the town witch.
Beacuse I won't conform.
Because I'm different.

USA!
Land of the Free!
Dig and you'll see.
You're in bad company.
And those freedoms you treasure
are being taken away
a little more
                        every
                             day

Congress men and women bought
                      left and right
Will you be next?
Put up a fight.
We eat their half-truths
and puke up the ruse.

Government closes your eyes
by telling you pretty little lies.
But is it worth being blind?
Keep covering your ears
and you have nothing to fear.
But, eventually the Truth
will make you HEAR.
I wrote this when I was 15.
Now looking back at it, it brings to mind a song I heard recently; " The New Wine" by Qwel and Kip Killagain.
