I was a king on a throne of wisdom
I carved mountains of thought
I plumed the depths of reality
but in every foundation and path I have carved
I've found your name engraved
and all these things that I thought made me great
were just an escape from you
I found I am your ******* servant
forever carving your likeness in statues you don't want

DC raw love
The walls between them
The challenges they must face

Induced feelings from others
Who has never known real loved

With the difference in views
About life and whats right

With the feelings of race and grace
The opinions of others

Love they say is meant to be easy
True love is only driven by the heart

But the feelings of love changes
When the two are alone

With the chemicals between them
There is no lonely space

I am NOT
yet the mirror lies
in front with sly a mouth
sly a gaze
THESE piercing eyes
Coals seducing me
Might I drown my depths
in the cool embers
of this fire that never burned

This poem is alive
Just as much as you and me
And not in as metaphor or simile

Trace the picture which is inside your mind,

Transform your thoughts into those infinite words,

Trust your instincts that they will find,

A plethora of words, always hide.

Talk to your buddy, talk to your mother,

Give the gift of words to your ‘love’, take a word of wisdom from your brother.

Speak with rage, come out with the wrath,

You will be overwhelmed to find what lies after that.

You will rediscover friendship when you share,

Thus, shedding the inhibitions that you wear.

More close you get, with whom you open up,

To find out that you are not the only one stuck.

A pool of people, a pool of emotions,

Awaiting for your participation.

Perhaps it is the moment,

For the words, signs and pictures to vent.

A wise oracle once said,
"Men shall become slaves
to the mocking light
of a yellow stone
They shall wage
wars over it
They shall go mad
with fanaticism
They shall blind themselves with
its emptiness and
care for it as their valuable catastrophe

It will ******* weak hearts
It will trick the righteous in a dark, bottomless pit
with no way out for anyone

...

In the end that magnificent,
sparkling stone
will bring out the hungry beasts
in all of us
and polish them
taint them cunningly
with its infinitely depthless beauty"
All that glitters is not gold.
The inspiration from this one came from my Economics professor who said gold had no practical value. And that made me think how something so worthless can actually cause so many problems. Oh what a big allegory for greed.

We must learn an inner solitude
We must learn to penetrate things
And find God there

Nothing in all creation
Is so like God
As stillness

My existence depends on the nearness
And the presence of God

Sun
I seen the sun this morning ,
But not like every morning,
This morning the sun greeted me ,
She looked down and smiled ,
At me .
She told me everything was going to be ok,
And that my future would be filled wih brighter days .
No more long , cold , nights .... She was here finally , the sun to melt away all the ice .
