My spirits are low
No more inspiration
No matter the perspiration
The stars have refused to glow
It's probably because I'm happy
But why should happy make ******
And poems not worthwhile
Well feel like frowning this smile
Even just for a little while
I wish inspiration was at a dial
Well, sorry poets, not feeling like poetry since I received an email that I made it through to the Barclays young leaders mentoring program..
My essay was among the best.So I have a lot of anxiety and strange emotions.
So used to feeling empty, I even don't know how to be happy anymore :o

I wanted to stump ******* your chest
So I could leave a footprint in your heart
If only someone would show me how best
I could do it without you getting hurt
I wanted to trip you so that you could fall
And be mine forever, once and for all
'Cause whilst many called my pieces *******
You said sometimes **** is worth the stink
Encouraged me to ignore what they think
And reorganized my jumbled mind to neat
You melted my heart like it were ice
With a single glance at your eyes
You stole the rhythm of my heartbeat
Or say in your presence It's a drumbeat
You make me lose the sense of senses
Yeah, even the grip on my tenses
I'm a car and you drive me so wild
If any of my control is left ,It's so mild
A touch of your skin drives me mad
You're that thing all lads wish they had
I don't know how to say this, ***
That I adore how gracefully you walk
That you sound like Angels when you talk
But I cannot utter even a single word
Of it ,your presence, leaves me speechless
And yet your absence leaves me breathless
I wasn't one to fall before you came around
How'd I avoid falling when my feet are spell bound
So I tried to write since I'd lost the gas
Came up with nothing better than this.

Natures Lace

All through the night she works, tireless never ceasing
To spin her silken threads
The perfect creation of natures Lace
A silken shimmering web
No hand of man could ever produce such a perfect work of art
With computers and modern technology he wouldn't know where to start
A silken thread floating on air is gathered and put in its place
All this in darkness without pattern or plan
She creates natures beautiful Lace
Each silken strand, stronger than steel
Stronger than anything man can produce
All this from one spider spinning her web
A product of natural juice
With the coming of dawn and a new rising sun
A sight that is sure to amaze
Every tree, every bush, every gatepost
Draped in a gown of gossamer lace

Kelley A Vinal
She checks her wristwatch
Counterclockwise
Against her former expectations
Of the metal
Around her wrist
She checks her digital clock
The one on the stove
That flashes
Flash, flash, flash, flash
Like a silent metronome
When the power goes out
And comes back on
12:31
12:30
12:29
Calm
She is still calm
Breathing
Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale
Steady
Like the bobbing of a buoy, bouncing
Brazenly in open sea
You see
She sees
That time can be trickery
That conceptual thoughts
Provoke mystery
Illusions and delusions
Conclusions and intrusions
Seclusion
She has many things
About which
To think

I know nothing about
The semblances of affection,
Or the pretension of passion;
I only know one kind of love:
The one I can't part from,
I really cannot, I really don't not.
I suffer ultra extreme separation anxiety.
No psychotic weird stuff.
We don't want to be apart,
But we do, for years at times.
I'm not a simpering wimp,
Or a wimpering simp.
This love lasts a lifetime,
A sane lifetime.
It makes me want to live.
I'll succumb to prayer and hope,
Whatever to never have it end.
     (I do mean never)
One love shouldn't have to subscribe
To the same cruel rules as everything
     (I do mean everything)
Else.
Something serious is askew
When one love leaves and love
Lives on in the other.
Our love lived once,
But died twice.

He asked her out
She dumped him

He loved her
She was faking it

He asked for one more chance
She denied

He waited
She never came

She returned apologizing
He denied

She reminds me of a foxglove
Eyes drawn to her like steel to a magnet
She reminds me of a foxglove
Her sweet perfume an olfactory pleasure
She reminds me of a foxglove
Tall, slender, beautiful
And just as poisonous

There is a wild meadow I carry from childhood
-wrapped up in my heart
and that meadow transplanted grows
- now, there, wild, just outside my window

Witchdoctors of wall street
Maketh potions of poor man's disgrace

Angels still left on earth
Dying to get back to their place

Their sick of the heartbreak
Humans tend to bring

All it would taketh
Is a lightning strike
To make those humans fully believeth in pain!!!

Pillars of salt the cities hath become
Liquor stores to stupor one down

Some weareth pearly apparel
High class yet ( not found)

These fancy dressers
Pick and choose
The lives they wanna live

Whilst the angels sit on back
Saying do not taketh mine friend
But giveth...

Pilate like rulers
Rule by sharpened tongue
Making gods of figurine's
Lying in another mates secretion
Thinking they haveth won..

Cloying masters
Of tyrent rage
Emptied out of the bag
False lovers of nothing more
Than control whilst at hand

Club-women
And club-men
Hanging out at bar (clazelle)
Sold their soul to Satan
For a night of wine and hell

They fraternize their wicked schemes
Whilst making one quick buck
Wherein is that dying breed
Lost on mountain musk?

They freck thee with smooches
They leaveth thee the next day
Fratriciders of suicide
To their friends and family decay

Ideomotor ideas doth come
At least to those who art lost
Gaveth all they've had
For a fake idea and posh

But it shalt all endeth soon
The storms now rolling in
A hurricane of sweet refuge
No more cheaters to lovers sin!!
