I had to shut the
windows
because the summer
air was hot
and dry
and memories of
southern Oregon
deluged my mind

where I was in the
dale with you
the grassy
wheat stained
vale with you
and your hand held up
every hope of youth's
crusade

A part of me
will always be there
drinking honeyed
lemonade

Those three universal words,
                                                    I loveth thou
Can verily make a person's day
                                                        Go a long way!!

From behind two screens
Hides two crawling hands
scurrying
hurrying
a hushed heart
with words to give
and more life to live

i'll build a bridge and you'll cross over
And when it rains- i'll be your cover.
I'll build a house and hide you in it
and when there's pain - i'll be your limit.

Hopeless Wonderland
It's a waste of time,
There is a lot more to do
Than this. I could be laying
In my bed. But no,
I have to waste four hours
Of my day, sitting in the
Library, staring at the wall.

Look at you, how you came along
Look at you, those smiles are so bright
It's a new day.

I hope that this poem finds you, I hope that you drink in these words of comfort and know that you will get through this day. Know that every human has a purpose, and today you may find yours.

Know that you are not alone. Know that your battle will soon be won. Know that there are stars in your eyes and galaxies in your head, and soon you will be soaring among the moon.

I hope this poem makes you smile. I hope it makes you think of the good things in life, the things that make you feel warm.

Know that you are special.

You are light itself;
you are blessed, you are blessing.
Peace always with you.
A response to PrttyBrd's "To Make It All Better".  I needed that this morning.

-

Shades of maple, shades of elm,
along a winding wishing stream
Of lily pad and cattail smiles
a’ glistening in rippled gleam

So soft the grass upon the hill,
where bluebirds sing their melodies
Harmonically with skies of blue
in perfect midday symphonies

It’s here amidst the air so free
I take this lazy afternoon
To think about the one I love
where precious wildflowers bloom

For this you see it what I dream,
someday the two of us shall share
Watching clouds move cross the sky,
spending time with little care

Seeing butterflies at play
as branches flow in whispered dance
Shadows tickling the ground
alone within a sweet romance

Until that time does come to pass,
desired dreams have all come true
Among this beauty I will rest,
*lost within my thoughts of you
Good night beautiful

I was a dealer
A pusher of ivory bags
And capsule packets...

All to get mine own delirium
Crazy enough for sanitarium's

Trapped and chained in fiend cage

As in god in that time I had forgotten

Though mine creator I must tell thou
Had not forgotten me...

I turned disease
To mine own kin
I stole a lifetime
Of prison sins
I sought the wrong
And in the end

I made a soo called friend
As
Tis
Was he who had set Me up

Got mine dealer, as also me
In a 22 people dope bust
Sent to jail
Than to pickway by bus

As pickaways
An old mental institution
Turned place for all thugs!!!

As In all this time
Tis
Whilst I mention
Alone I was not

As for god had sent me cherubs
Seraphim's against those beasts
I came out better than the rest

Tis mine story
Tis me!!

I’m the whether man, I love you;
Whether you are happy or you’re sad,
The whether man will always know
What kind of day you’ve had.

I’m the whether man, I love you;
Whether you are cold or you are hot,
I can always tell your temperature
Whether you like it or not.

I’m the whether man, I love you;
Whether it is night or day,
I’m always gonna love you whether
You choose to go or stay.

I’m the whether man, I love you;
Whether you are rich or you are poor,
Whether you are down and out,
Or good luck’s knockin’ at your door

I’m the whether man, I love you;
But whether I’m happy is up to you
Whether I’m happy depends on
Whether or not you say you love me too!
