I dreamed of you,

laying beside me,

through the fall of the night.

Your hands,

laid around my neck,

with a soft titillate touch.

Your fragrance breathe,

filled the air,

under the covers.

What is your name?

For i didn't hear your voice,

neither did i see your face.

If you are listening to me,

through the distress call,

of my heart beat,

return to me,

In the stillness of night.

If one did surgery on mine heart
The blood wouldst floweth
Endlessly

With the love for her
I hold!!!

(fourteen lines)

Their faces and tiny fingers filled my cupped hands
but, they're all grown now...on their own, they strive to stand
and hold shape...further from my warm hands...
still, they're shielded from whatever is harmful out there
rain or shine, they're raised high, safe from  murky water
somehow, it seems, i can't contain them much longer
but...they don't have to know
carefully, quietly, i will have to let go
here...today... i open my palms wide
my fears, my reservations, i put aside
and  from my cupped hands, down...they glide
like toddlers, shrieking while they slide
spilling continuously...like sand
leaving me...with empty hands.

Sally

~

Whipped cream clouds
on strawberry sherbet skies
reflect upon balmy turquoise waters
rolling in the rhythmic cadence
of our ever beating hearts

In solitude we stroll down
an endless beach framed by
opaque weathered dunes and
seashell dreams at the edge
of white foam borders quivering

Leaving footprints
harmonic impressions,
rippled patterns of love
along a soft whispered shoreline
longing passion’s embrace

I kiss you,
deep and lingering, quenching
the thirst of my desires
with moist ambrosial flavors
of your warmest affections

Slow meandering waves
gently caress sand coated, tanned skin
as we now share love neath
a pastel painted sunset sky,
*creating a perfect summer evening
Good night Beautiful

Lingering
Inside her psyche
In the back of her mind

Is a little light
That illuminates those darkened thoughts

And that little light is me

As I flicker
Whenever she pulls the string!
The stars are blinking.
Winking at me in the dark.
I can't see my hands.

I wanna punch walls
And throw glass
And curse all the curse words

Yet I stay still and quiet.

Beautiful blue eyes
Glistening in the sunshine
Two worlds become one
Mending my soul is like;
Trying to hurt yourself,
Putting back the pieces
that will never be the same.

"you're a thief."
she exclaimed
the boy smiled,
a teasing wicked smile
"how?"
the girl huffed
"you stole."
"what did i steal?"
"you stole...
kisses
love
my heart
glances
thoughts
smiles
tears
hope
friendship
and everything
in between"
the girl mumbled
tears being to
***** her piercing
eyes
the boy nodded
"i guess i will
steal something else."
the girl cringed,
afraid of his answer
"what?"
"our relationship."
and he picked up
their relationship
and dropped it.
kisses vanished
love faded
a heart shattered
thoughts drifted off
glances evaporated
smiles cracked
tears fell
hope disappeared
a friendship expired
and everything
in between
dissolved.
this poem is about a boy breaking up with a girl if you couldn't tell :)
