Isis a goddess of magic
Stars shooting like diamonds
Shielding a child’s dreams
Patroness to nature
A defender of the dead
Timeless giver of life
Garden of life’s oases
Every star a child
Every constellation a shield
Men her warriors
The sky a bed of hope
A silken blanket
Nature her weapon to wield

By scarlet rose

Dat Boi
She holds Aegis in her hand
Flee before it, if you can
The head of a monster hangs from a fleece
Look, you look, and you turn to stone
Fight her, you fight her, and you will be bone

She was just a young goddess
About what modern people would call a "teenage girl"
Running through a field of lotuses,
Her white dress lapping at her legs
Her golden hair whipping in the wind

Her friends, they call out
"We'll be asleep. Don't wander so much,"
She reassures them she'll be fine
With a smile and a nod, they rest in the field of flowers.

Flowers catch the young goddess' eye
Appealing with its bright colors
And lovely shape,
She thinks, Who could resist such beauty?

For the answer is none,
Maybe not even the wisest of mortals
She bends down, the flowers poking at her covered thighs
It's a bright flower, just like the blue skies

Proserpina, our lovely and innocent goddess, she picks until her heart's content
Flower after flower.
One is gone, another shows up, and so goes to the cycle.

She's gone too far, but Proserpina doesn't know that
She's about to sit and inspect these lovely flowers that she has picked
When there's a rumble below the earth.
Alarmed, she recoils, ready to break into a run

The ground opens up, a man in armor
This is the one they call Hades, God of the Underworld
Proserpina, alarmed, cannot see his face for it is pallid
Pale and sunken, but that doesn't matter now.

Hades, with his might, grabs the young goddess, who is screaming for help that she does not receive

Help! I am being abducted, but why me, a goddess,
When there are plenty of mortal women?

Proserpina doesn't know the workings of a god's heart, no,
Especially one who's her father's brother.
She's taken down under,
Where death rules and ghosts go by, like some sort of dead city
Inhabited by soulless spirits

Proserpina, it seems, will not be seeing her mother or the land above in
Quite a while, but Proserpina, soon she will not care.

Ah, to be young, and to be a goddess.

Dat Boi
Have you ever done nothing wrong
Yet to be punished so severely?
Body of a monster, face of a woman,
It isn't flesh that you wear
But scales, green ones
Hissing is your music
And the sound of an unsheathed sword your funeral dirge
Have you ever
Been Medusa?

The goddess
Of golden-faced victory
Her head brilliantly decorated with green laurels
Victoria, bestowing victory for what is named after her
Down to the red-plumed Romans with their gleaming swords

Nike, champion of the Greek gods.
Riding the chariot of victory into battle
The laurels catches the light of a mirror
It dances away, after its victorious champion

She may be a bit crazy or at least hungry
For the taste of that sweet victory
Let her be Roman; let her be Greek;
She is never weak

What one might say, she does not know
For her victory is clogging up her ears
Goddess of victory, we all want a taste of her power.

.
Beyond the massif peaks of Europa,
Above the ancient pillars of Heracles
Where rain and ocean are weaving,
Lays a fabled kingdom born of waves
And noble strands, my beaten hearts
Haunting, the lost, lush sylvan lands
Of Galicia.
                   Where Incomparable, dark
Haired women, mythic, of Amazonian
Fairness, side the valleys and moors
Of soon forgotten dreams and secretive
Wolves slide amongst warmed runnings
Of the ram and moans of ewe, where
Way bountiful seas are over spilling,
In octopus and pearly gemmed shells,
The scalloped pilgrimages unfolding,
Where incense burns with under stars
Encased, the lost Atlantean temples
Of Egyptian sands and storied Gaels,
The clad forests of wandering Titans,

Where snow white beaches end forever
Unmapped in told footsteps, castaway,
As was the magi gift of treasured yards,
Enlightenments, of old and golden isles
Pearling the coasts, sailing the sweet airs
Crossing Iberian gates, to Elysian, eternal,
Galicia.

Traveler
Her star shines so bright around me
That I can’t believe my eyes
I wrote this poem about Her
She's the drug that gets me high

When shivers shake my body
And my heart begins to fail
She comes to me quite swiftly
Releasing me from hell

Stars cannot outshine her
Her love will never cease
I'll worship her to the bitter end
And observe her sacred creed...
Goddess worship has been the most fulfilling
and satisfying stage of my spiritual evolution.
My life has never been so on track.
My goddess has many names, similar to Hindu ideology.

South-by-Southwest
I used to gather
where the bridge crossed the bay
Pausing in the ebb of
the changing tide .
I tried to capture
the moment of the ebb's decay

She came to me
with soft words of call
Left messages saying
she's not sure about it at all

The sea follows the
ways we know not
our separation was complete
we left our ancient past behind
to tread upon this land
on our own two feet

Shake the dust from your call
dress the shadows
make the sun fall
words of deliverence
wet the tongue's
parchment and thirst

The tide remains constant
demanding , relevant
with unrelenting presence
It is married to the bay
In a never ending struggle
of give and take

You're my moon goddess
so wise so beautiful

your words are like magic
written on holy paper

your rhymes go straight to my heart
causing ripples in my mind

I dream of getting close to you,
to be your muse for life

your light shines upon my soul
transforming me into something unknown

your spirit connects with mine
making me somewhat Divine

the distance between us lessens
you take over me whole

to please you eternally
has now become my goal
i just write as it comes into my mind from wherever
When the dust swirls in the March wind
the forlorn noon is thick with flames of the forest
and the meadow sighs in gold yellow sun

my eyes seek Krishna in that aching void.

She grazed the cows from morn till twilight
and though eldest among the siblings
she was schooled only in the blazing days
learning to pull her herd to greener pasture
venturing into marshes none would dare tread.

Not one groom could be found for her
bypassed she was for her fairer sisters
that went to school grew up were married
and ushered new inmates to the world.

Then a few summers past
when I had almost forgotten her
I saw her forehead smeared with vermilion.

But why she had to come back
playing once again the shepherd girl
gathering them for home at dusk
crooning aaaaaa….oooooo…..

I don’t know if Krishna went back to her husband
for after a few days she wasn’t seen again.

Only the winds howled in the forlorn noon
and the little shepherd girls who came after her
whispered she had at the in-laws
hung herself from a tree.

Theodore Bird
Cradling snowy doves in your soft palms;
     fluttering wings and fluttering smiles.
Tip-toeing shorelines, wet grass on riverbanks;
     sun-kissed shoulders and Apollo's eyes.
Flushed skin in the shade of Pelion,
fig juice in your cold gold hair.

Dear mother of mine
You have done it again
You have  crossed the line
You believe you've been kind
But this is part of your grand design

Holier-than-thou you pretend to be
A sinner your false persona hides
Judgement day will be your demise
With all your lies it shouldn't come as a surprise

Asking for forgiveness
Is your ace up your sleeve
But only if your believe

When it's time to say goodbye
Heaven is where you will think you'll reside
But we know where you will lie
