I was struck with deja vu,
As you took my hand in yours
And spun me, from my dreams,
Out onto the dance floor.
Our eyes locked,
As they must have once before
And your body pressing against mine,
Once again, made my heart soar.
I swear we've lived this moment
Half a million times
Though some of those were in my dreams
And another 30 in my rhymes.
My dear, I hope this dance never ends.
I hope that midnight bell never chimes.

take a selfie
to show the true me
no make up messy hair
baggy T's

but no this is the way you see me

take a selfie
add some ****
with my hair in my face
and over done makeup

to me i see myself as "perfect"
and everyone will love me..
yet night after night
i tear at my skin and cry myself
to sleep..

but you will never know the real me!
you judged me before you could
find out,
so *******
and your judgemental
******* thing you call your personality!

im so ******* done, with you
your **** and my life...

so dont act sad when i dont
come to school,
dont act sad when you find
out i passsed.
because honey you dont really care!

tiny particles giving color to the sky.

It's determined not
By your flow of words
Nor the rhymes
That makes a rhythm
Those are countless

It's by the courage
You simply give
To the new ones
For that shows
The love of poetry

Best Poets Are Among Us
It's painful when I don't get encouraged.  Be the great poet and never pass other poet's poems.  Like Or comment,  It Counts
I woke up a villian from my worst nightmare
Too scared to defend those that really matter
Seeing the heroes of the story
And watching all their dreams shatter
Weaponless against the clock
That just keeps ticking
If time is all that really matters
Then why am I still breathing?
I can't control the emotionless toll it takes on my mind
I'll never be brave enough to try and turn back time
It ticks a little faster whenever I'm running late
And slows down completely when I try to test fate
On a date with the mastermind behind all my evil plans
He's death incarnate but still proud of my artistic scams
And yet I find myself feeling ashamed of who I am

As I watch solemnly the dimming of love's fire
There were rifts we had no time to mend
Pain and regret burnt to ashes on the pyre
You were once the only one I called friend

There were rifts we had no time to mend
My heart grew sad and went on a break
You were once the only one I called friend
While some may have, we couldn't fake

My heart grew sad and went on a break
The hopes we had, replaced with doubt
While some may have, we couldn't fake
We did our best and took the only way out

The hopes we had, replaced with doubt
Pain and regret burnt to ashes on the pyre
We did our best, took the only way out
As I watch solemnly the dimming of love's fire

Wanderer
Rough edges shape their calluses to my own
We bite softly at first
Tasting shadowed limitations
Deeper flavors blossom wet and dark along thirsty tongues
I need closer
To render you tearful, speechless
Peel back each layer then climb inside
Saturating my parched surface
With the dewy fabric of your subconscious mind
Ebony pupils widen into the spalunking expanse of my own
I could explore your depths for a lifetime
I would still be left wanting

b for short
No matter the weather
or the nicks and dents
you’ll acquire without effort—
no matter how experiences—
the whole of them—
may short change you
into a thing
that you barely recognize—
don’t let that chin drop.

Everyone can see
the potential
in a heads up penny.

there are nights
when the moon cannot be found
and the stars hide behind unseen clouds
on these nights
I turn to thoughts of you
that arrive on waves of  imagined shores
and saturate like sand the open wounds of memory
the images painful
yet consoling
distant
yet within reach
here I will drift to sea
live a dream I will not remember

and I shall curse the morning rain
for taking you away
