The dull green taint of the land.
The bright sun that blinds the eye.

The end of it all.

But,

The beginning of something new.

The beast, a creature that once stood tall and proud, is now mocked by the chains, and people, that hold it.

The children, who would've once cowered in fear, now point and laugh as it struggles hopelessly.

The shadowed figures in the background exchange goods just like any other day.

'Bring down the monster' the crowd cheers.

Breaking is always made to appear a lot more graceful in novels, poetry and films.

My breaking looks like a dark room in midday,
***** dishes which look too familiar to my insides.
My breaking looks monotonous,
Rehearsed,
Practiced over and over again too many times,
A play I no longer want a part in,
A lead I cannot escape.
Useless...
nothing more then a left over puzzle piece of Earth
they always build
higher and higher
for soon you may not even break them with pliers.
As they combine people notice
an uprising coming
utterly useless.
For now they are eroding
because they are done forming.
for once was a an excellent pyramid,
is now a lonely unacceptable rock.
For once the rock a well respected person with power
is now a lonely man planning to devour the empowered
for his empire just conspired once more.
before me
in
her
head

answer me
in
this
madness

my fingertips have escaped me
they are now drawing on her flesh
she has been scented with many
beautiful rose petal deaths
she clings to me here
her garments
well worn
parted
art
her
lips
are on mine
we kissed darkness into light
she lets me hold her her in
silences caresses
she breathes
on me
would
you
?
