When the skies are settled 
And out went the sea 
A rocky cave is shone
For all the world to see
And in Its depths in darkest waves
There shines a light,
Of fluttering filtered focus
There  swims a fish 
With but three fins,
Through lakes of reddened snow.
But light through every flake

losing interest in this world around me
fading softly into the background
nobody sees
nothing can save me
falling faster than the rain in the storm
I've given in and lost control
this injured heart will stop its beating
when blood flows freely from my body
and air remains trapped around me
my lungs are empty
my pulse is gone
so let me go, let me fade, let me leave this world of pain
on my own I'll die away
turn away, don't watch this time
I don't want to hurt you anymore
you don't need to see this
just know I'll be gone
and this is my "Goodbye, I love you"
one last time

There is a hook of another woman’s perfume
hanging from your neck, trailing behind you
like a carcass dragging. It smells of flood
and I am keeping myself from drowning
in her.

I have counted the chairs in your room,
the wrinkles in your sheets and there are extras
for every time she rolled over to ask you
who I was.

Did you tell her?

For anyone else, there would be chances
handed out for every second glance, every
dial tone. For you, there are only choices,
sour and tired from being given away.

Chances and I
have that in common.

we arose high in delusion
a projection of tranquillity
for once in this disarranged existance
I thought that I could breath
but it was just a mass of lies
a masquerade of misfortune
an impression on impressible minds
for now we fall entwined
screaming towards certain desolation
like an earthquake during a firestorm
descending into spiritlessness
spiralling downward apart
as this ghastly specter shatters in my mind
forever spellbound

I have entered a dark and desolate place
                                 where the hollows crawl
mouthing the names of lost loves
others instead, stupidity flowing
from their mouths like a flood
                                 trying to hide terror in silk sheets
its not hard to see convulsion in their happy smiles
or blindness in their eager eyes
their blunders in life has taught them well
that you live, taste heaven once, **** it up
                                  then wait to die and go to hell

It is in moments like these that I wonder
                                   if I am cursed to forever wander
the desolate land of no i love you's
from you, where the shadows burn
I feel your heart calling mine
                                    I miss our world of make believe
My dreams are filled with your beauty
and in my nightmares I chase away
the spiders that seethe against us
God knows the frightful silence from you,
                                                           it haunts me

It's been us for a while
It's been us for years
We were just held back
But now we have no fears

There's nothing in our way
With each other, we spend our time
Hanging out all day
Not seeing each other is a crime

We have so many firsts yet to experience
I can't wait to try them all
With the one I am meant for
I have already begun to fall

Throughout my days
I am so uneasy

Everything feels calm and breezy
