The road unpaved, waved winding red

Lithia springs ring clear, a tumbled water song

Owl tree softly spoke
lily fawn so slept, caressed by mourning cloak

Watercolor crimson skies
bleed indigo blue pastel lines

Yellowy blues sink viridian green

a sunrise to devour

She is a sable brush
born of resurrected ashes
sifting her soul in colors
Hillsides greening, looking out
a painter of days and ruins

On old world wings you've come
through ages gracing wilds
In gardens you hover, humming hawk moth
seemingly like a bird
On beating wings you sing to honeyed flower stalks
a proboscis long for drinking up
phlox and penstemon
