Until when do we,
have to hide away?
All we do is chase the day.
Do we stay or flee?

Farther we inch apart
to places we've never touch.
****, I will miss so much
the things we did at heart.

I'm indefinitely impatient
and you were inevitably,
indefinitely,
complacent.

How could it all end?
Two years of this.
All I wanted was your kiss.
But to you I'm just a friend.

It hurts to see.
You caught up,
while I was your backup.
I hated it. I didn't agree.
To the same boy my heart opened to that later on took it away from me. I wish it back.

I'd love to have an adventure
To different worlds where my heart can fly
To different worlds where my heart desires
And will be remembered until I die.

I'd love to have an adventure
Along with my precious pen
And write down all the things I've witnessed
And read it all again.

I'd love to have an adventure
Through the darkest part of the forest
And meet the greatest beasts
And see who is the toughest.

I'd love to have an adventure
Through the deepest part of the sea
Where a place I can find peace
As if there is no living creature but me.

I'd love to have an adventure
Where mysterious mountains hide secrets
Then I'll climb to its toppest part
By ignoring the chirping crickets.

I'd love to have an adventure
Where I can be my fullest self
Together with my loved ones
And finish the books on the shelf.

I'd love to have an adventure
With my eyes that is sharper than knife
I'll face my battles, brave and humble
Until I get to the Everlasting Life
Once upon a time a rat met a mouse,
It let the latter was tricked into opening the house,
The prior smiled but hid his knife,
And made fun of the latter and his life,
He hath done wrong to a lot in his prime,
And he ran and ran for none sees the strife,
But when he found the latter in a bind,
He sought a beautiful plan in his mind,
It was a malevolent yet indescribable plan,
And he let the rabid venom of his words seep,
Turning the world and the foundations in its land,
Loving himself so much he ignored the stand,
The conscience of his stand become but a hand,
To smack those in the light and destroy all that who demand,
That what is right is what is wrong in his eye,
He loved to see others in the pan,
Burning and seething and bleeding for his man,
He was a man, yet he loved another man,
There was nothing wrong but he loved to be the Man,
It was not futile yet it would surely take some time in the sand,
Yet he still told lies and stepped on the foot of all in his path,
Then the latter told him in privacy that it was not good to grant,
Himself the power on his current reprimand,
He saw this as bad as he does not see what is right,
He believes only himself to be right which made the latter sad,
Fury in his head and sanity gone mad,
He sliced the latter's face and slice his own in a brand,
He swapped the two and sewed it with iron clamps,
Til' this day the latter would just stand,
As all the world thinks that he is the bad,
When he now tells of the wrongs, and the evil of grands,
He appears as the villain as the villain reeks of his band.
The story of a frame up in a not so easily understandable land.

i am not
my favorite poet
not even third or
fourth in line for the title

the hawk circles
laughing
at such a notion

and i bury my toes
in the dirt
waiting for the mockingbird
to chime in
that's about the length of it
