You don't get it, but you will
I'm breaking your heart
So you won't dare touch me again
I'm not only bad for you
But if you let me
I'll corrupt you
I'll twist your thoughts
I'm bad for you
I'll drive you insane with insecurity
Breaking your heart is necessary
Breaking you down is my gift to you
So you can move on
Just remember
This one time
I did it for you

I've taken your talons out of me
Yet the poison still remains
Too soon for these wounds to heal
But the pain is still the same
The poison has weakened me
The melody of music fades
Coursing through my veins
Food has lost its taste
Everything is so black and white
Colorblind these days
Love is but a construct
Lust was just a phase

People blame what they can see
That is why we never blame ourselves first.

Oh to dream,
To have a life of love
To dream of the freedoms
that money buys
Fancy cars and loyal friends
Oh to dream,
To dream that money buys
get out of life free cards
Oh to dream,
To dream that everyone wants you.
Me oh my, to dream we never die
That money Brings bright blue skys
Where the root of happiness lies

Oh darlin, You got what I need
The love is fruitful with lust
Oh baby, You got what I need
Your the only one I trust
Oh hunny, You got what I need
The magic is in your eyes
Oh beautiful, You got what I need
Keep filling me with your lies
Oh sweet pea, You got what I need
Cheat on me forget saying goodbye
Oh my love, You got what I need
Don't say I never tried
Oh suga, You got what I need
The knife in my backside.

For 20 days
you called me ******
While you were calling him on the phone.
20 days
I was there for you
While in the back of your mind he was why you asked me to leave you alone.
For 20 days
you told me you were working on us
But you were with him talking about trust
For 20 days
I was giving you space to think
For 20 days
He was why we didn't speak
For 20 days
I begged and bled for you to notice me again
But all along it was a waste of my time thinking we would begin again.

As the winged serpents descended
And the smog filed death machine,
marched Towards their last breath
He grabbed her
Kissed her with everything he had left
And walked graciously onto the inevitable.
Something so permanent
an absolute truth of separation.
Couldn't change what he felt about her
The test of time made sure their love existed.
As she begged him not to go
Her memory started to fade
And all that was left, was a black and white photo of two strangers on the nightstand of the nursing home...
