Constantly chasing the future,
while clutching the past in my hands.
The present slips through these fingers,
elusive as desert sands.
A butterfly flew,
rather fluttered and floated;
contagious smiles grew.
Wasn't looking to rhyme this haiku... but I blame it on a butterfly :)
Fine china is pressed to my lips.
offering a moment of sweet bliss,
as soothing warmth envelopes me
and my troubles start to fade.

Slowly sipping my cup of tea,
I find all is as it should be,
and clarity slowly emerges
putting my mind at ease.

I enjoy this relaxing remedy,
in this comforting serenity,
with a smile and a sigh
I find Positivi-tea.

When I feel depressed
And want to do nothing
Feeling so stressed about everything
I get up
Get dressed
Pack my bag
And walk
Walk for hours and hours
In the sun or in rain
Until I feel better
And in the end
And I always do
It's always when I feel like it the least that I have to and today was one of those days. It was freezing outside but I walked for at least two hours, and as always, I eventually felt better. I recommend it so much. Just you, your music, and the sky...
You think that I do not notice
stars in clear dark skies,
or that absent sparkle in your eyes
and the stillness of it all;
As I lay here silently all night
wondering what might be wrong
and how I can make it right?

she'll break out of
the bottle. She's been
pushing from within, akin
to a babe in the womb. Except

the womb is now her
room. In vintage blue glass
hours pass like the seasons,
with no rhyme or with no

reasons. Colored red, and
spread out like clouds
painted on the sky. They lie. They're
all genies out there, in navy suits

and striped ties, pleated skirts,
tweed blazers and cotton
shirts. On white walls men blurt. So,
do I. It's how I pass the time.
