never knew you
except from
far away

never loved you
except from
far away

never
except for
in poems and colors

and
...
you know

i never wanted to give
you anything more
than what you wanted.

tonight i was thinking
if the moon were one
of the eyes of God

would it rain every night,
or some nights shine so bright
that even the sleepiest birds

couldn't help singing?
i know
you remember.

dear india,
just one
question:

if you're gone, which you are,
and i'm gone, which i am,
gone like refugees,

why do you
keep showing up
in my dreams?
a turtledove being
attacked by wild
beasts doesn't wait
to cry

out for help
or for You
nor do I
all I ask

for is You
to fight for
me since I
seem to be

too weak; You
and I have
been here before;
I have not

forgotten
Your
kindnesses
what do i have to say
to keep the zebra stripes
from falling off and leaving only white?

what do i have to do
to keep the herd of restless rhino
from stampeding you?

what do i have to be
to get the giraffe to come and eat
from our acacia tree?

peace is less than me
and more than you
but we are almost free
"Teej" Julie Teasdale  aka MasikaniCrocodile aka Crocodile of Happiness has taken her life after suffering from bipolar disorder. She was 27. She's home with Jesus now, God I miss her.

All her HP family are invited to the service Sunday night at 1897 Little Snowbird RD Robbinsville NC 28771. I would love to give and receive hugs from any of you who were touched by her poetry. Trust me, she was the most beautiful, kind, sincere, meek person you could ever know. She was my best friend since the day I was born and my heart is shredded on my knees crying Lord, Lord.

Dear Friends,,

I have been on Hello since the end of December. Before that I never thought I'd ever have thousands of people read my poems  let alone provide positive reinforcement. Many of you have become very precious to me also. I recently noticed the amount of reads I've gotten, and the number blows my mind. Thank you for supporting my addiction! I love reading yours as much as you have enjoyed mine, maybe more. Keep writing everyone. Thanks for your support. You mean more to me than even a poet can express in words.

Love,

Chuck
I was not intoxicated when I wrote this. Haha
Tell me what is it like to be happy
Because I haven´t been in a while now
I forgot what it feels like,
So please tell me now.

Her arms around you
and the smile on your face
you dont seem to notice
that everything for me is gray.

Everything is dark
nothing belongs in my mind.
the sounds around me seem to be quiet
and I can´t see anymore what matters.

Hold me like you used to
Let´s take it back
I want to remember
what it feels like.

if i paid attention in english class
i’d probably be smart
but if i was smart
i’d probably be boring
either that or super weird
like the crazy shoe-lace sweaters
our professor wears.

people keep dying around me
people that i always almost knew
the funny
outgoing
loud people
forever in the middle
of big crowds
everyone loves
a clown
but maybe not enough

why are they gone?
.
once you meet him
you will always miss him
and want to share a fire
