My how the times have changed
Technology has been a constant force of how
      We the people see the world
         Take a step back into time
               Put a pen to paper
         Just like in the Old Times...

Once upon a time....

We all have struggles
Holding on to the last strand of the rope
Holding onto something by our fingertips
Holding on by the skin of our teeth
At our wits end...

We all my look perfectly fine and happy all the time...
Often the people who are hurting the most are the ones who cover it up with a smile

Be that one person in someone’s life
               To help them
Guide them
              Support them

Even when times are rough for you
Having someone by your side opens up endless possibilities to be shared together...

A broken smile can be beautiful if you just accept yourself and push through the daily struggles we ALL go through...

One day at a time
  One foot in front of the other
     One step towards your future
       One breath to fill your soul
         One dream within reach
           One love for each other
             One soul living together
               One life we have to live
                 One day will be our end
                   One day at a time...

I look down at a blank screen
Let my fingers do the typing
Cultivating my hopes and dreams
Within reach or far away
I will capture them all
In a simple book of my own thoughts
                                                        One day...

If only there could be
One day throughout the year
For all those who have passed away
That their souls would be released
For us to have one more day
Just to talk, hug or cry to one last time
Also, for loved ones to say a proper goodbye
For those who left us suddenly
                     And
Make your dreams of fantasy become a reality

The fate of my life
Is in my hands
Should I jump
Just make this all
Come to an end
Would I hurt
Not just myself
But everyone around me

One foot
Over the edge
My mind is racing
Is this the right thing
I just want to make it end

Second guessing
What I thought was right
Take a step backwards
I’m so filled with fright

We all have these moments
When times get rough
To just end our lives
But you got to have trust

Trust in yourself
Your not alone
There’s always a driving force
To bring you safely
Back home...

Believe in yourself for just one minute
     Everything else will follow in your path

One sparkler
Brings so much joy
Light it up
Hear the roar
Only last for less then a minute
Throwing off so many colors
Feeling the heat within it
It’s the little things
That bring us a joy
Even for a short time
Forever more
Expect less
Capture more
Full of color
Watching it soar
Flashes of lights
Going fast
Watch it burn
Oh I wish it would last
Embracing the innocence
Of purely you
          One sparkler
              Brings so much joy from me to you

Is the grass really greener on the other side....

If it’s not watered or taken care of properly

Then it may not be greener on the other side...

One persons “junk” maybe another persons “treasures”

Don’t judge someone...
      You never know what anyone is dealing with, even if you think you know them....

You don’t look sick.....(you don’t know understand what I’m dealing with in the inside)

Are you starting a family anytime soon? (When the time is right, you tell everyone...”you don’t know I can’t have children”)

You work way to much, take time for yourself...(work makes me forget about all I deal with in my head)

We all carry baggage and demons within ourselves....
          It’s how you try and deal or unpack your bags to release the weight you carry with you....

Always look forward, never backwards
     You can’t change the past, but you can make plans to change the future

        One step at a time....

I will shed one tear on this “Mother’s Day”
     Since I will never become a mother

         I feel the pain of so many around the world
Who can’t become a “mother,” who want it so bad
                     One tear I will shed for you (and for me)
           In hopes we can find comfort for one day we’ll be happy
