what a curious world
but what a regulated curiousity
i'm not allowed to know what that spot is
because it'll hurt me
but i'm told that being gay is bad
and that won't?
hmm

Absolute silence
Deafening me, I try and slice it
But then the fridge buzz comes again
fridge buzz
We are hydrocarbons
We all burn
We are all laughed at
And we all get our turn

We produce our own enemies
We almost smother ourselves in sadness
We all release CO2
When we die from this poem's badness

We all want to be superior
We all want to be the equalizer
We want to be leerier
Without being the sympathizer

We smite and are smited
We hurt and we heal
We spite and are spited
And have a tenuous relationship with what's real

We are hydrocarbons
We are equal despite what we aspire
And if you don't agree
I'll light you on fire
Constructive criticism appreciated.

sweat trickles
excessively
this is getting to me
my haiku skills aren't great, if you hadn't yet noticed

4:54am
and the clock is ticking ridiculously loud
almost like it's deliberate
And the skies are somehow getting brighter
but the grey is unchanging
Through the window the buzz is getting louder
and I'm not sure what to do
The wind is shaking that old tree dangerously close to the house
but I'm not that scared for if it comes through
morning thoughts
Hm
Sometimes I feel,
I have it all planned out,
Then it's as if my hairs falling out.

Sometimes it's like,
Everything's right,
Then my chest gets way too tight.

Sometimes I know,
Exactly what I feel,
Then I feel like I'm in a hamster's wheel.

Sometimes I get,
Which way I should go,
But then I panic.
I, just, don't, know,
The winds
That touch
Your face
Has my breath
In it.

If only
The motion was slow
It would know
How silence
Dreamed
Love to show.

The proximity
So intense
He felt
My butterflies
I felt
His fears
In each other's rear.
