Everyone’s heart transcended through space
A multitude of Poet’s ideas, so follow me being a trace
We have a race against time
But keep that Poetry momentum in thinking of mine
Words that can be disbursed throughout the universe
A Poetry read not needing any rehearse
Sentences have found their new birth
It all started on good old Earth
Eye on emotion
The microscope being clarity
Our spacecraft into many worlds unknown
Saturn promoting a Poet’s writings
The Moon giving applause
The stars being are the attended read
Now let’s proceed
Like I said prior, we have a race against time
Tomorrow’s poetry word is yesterday gaining inspiration
Poetry words continue, but galactic expressions expand throughout the galaxy
A Poet echoes words throughout, and planets hear and shout
A Poet is more than a person living on Earth
A Poet has supernatural powers
They write for hours
A Poet writes until perfections transforms and is won
A true Poet knows when to the ****** the finale being done
Now let’s head back to our Earth base home
We have taken poetry far and it will continue to roam
Time wasn’t wasted, but a Poet’s time in a galaxy spent.
Shy
I sit there in silence
and glance...
But only if I dare!
because your presence alone
awakens every hair

What I wouldn't give
to flash you a smile
and be able to just sit
and converse with you awhile

back in reality
I'm still in my seat
breathing faster now
clamy hands tingling feet

close and open
go my eyes
is this real life!?
Why are mind and body
in such strife!!

you get up and leave
my soul sings a sigh
I should have said hello
wasn't ready for good bye
Walk a mile in this soul
And you'll see what I see
All that loves turns to gold
All that's lost sets you free

No matter the cost
I'ma keep being me
Ain't no price for what I've bought
Except my own pair of wings
Shout out to Harlon Rivers for the inspiration for this from the title of his collection, and to the old homeless man I met in Mobile Alabama who shared some of his poetry with me, for he is the subject of the matter.

Wondering how life will pan out from this moment on as ****** by Usher keeps echoing in the background.
Maybe it was wrong of me to have you stay by my side while your mind was already drifting a million miles away from me.
My love and faith will be dissected; you’ll even go as far as quoting me out of context based on the messages that I’ve sent.
But that’s something that I should expect because I’m also at fault like tectonic plates.
Charles once told me that things would change but not always for the better.
He said as long as I prove myself to be King then I’ll eventually find someone as phenomenal as Coretta.
But Charles I’m slowly losing hope, that Skype call we had on August 14th gave me some perspective and maybe I’m doing something wrong.
Because all day I’ve been sitting here all alone while contemplating if I am going nowhere fast.
Wondering how life will pan out from this moment on as Let It Go by James Bay keeps playing on the radio.
Maybe it was wrong of me to have you stay by my side while your mind was already drifting a million miles away from me.
i walk onto the waters
for impossibility is a word
used by those in fear
of failure
and for them i rise above the clouds
and fly
for their fear of falling
is my freedom
exhilarated
by the rush
of the moment
and so i appear
in a dream
where one is standing
at the edge of tomorrow
and the only way to get there
is to conquer the waters
or the skies
however
this is one who fears
because of what they say
so i take the hand
of one
to show what it's like
to defeat reality
My anxieties run through me like river
I am not all beautiful
But I am trying to be alive anyways
I drink coffee to join mornings
I take deep breaths to live inside of moments

I observe so I can see you without my presence as a distraction
I take in your lips so I know what coming together feels like
I dance with your hands to feel everything all at once
I leave the blinds open so I can move with nature

All of this is to say that I am working to be here
Please do not add to my mourning
I am human too
I am real
I have feeling in my chest
And I don’t want to shatter
So much so… that I never get to glow

... At least just once.
You were afraid
Of falling.

Falling for people
That gave you no ground
for landing;
Unreachable heights that
Hands can't grasp,
All that is left is an
Emotional mess -

Because love is a dangerous flight.
And settling for risks,
Isn't your choice of fun.
We were very tired, we were very merry—
We had gone back and forth all night on the ferry.
It was bare and bright, and smelled like a stable—
But we looked into a fire, we leaned across a table,
We lay on a hill-top underneath the moon;
And the whistles kept blowing, and the dawn came soon.

We were very tired, we were very merry—
We had gone back and forth all night on the ferry;
And you ate an apple, and I ate a pear,
From a dozen of each we had bought somewhere;
And the sky went wan, and the wind came cold,
And the sun rose dripping, a bucketful of gold.

We were very tired, we were very merry,
We had gone back and forth all night on the ferry.
We hailed, “Good morrow, mother!” to a shawl-covered head,

And bought a morning paper, which neither of us read;
And she wept, “God bless you!” for the apples and pears,
And we gave her all our money but our subway fares.
