I expected you to choose me.
I told people that I didn't-
Too young
Too small
Too handsome.
I didn't need the fall.

I fell harder than I would have believed
And as we sat on the lawn
Cicadas chirping around us
I felt the weight of the world
Fall onto my shoulders
As you left me like only you could.

And left me isn't even fair
Since we weren't even something
You could leave behind.
But still my hearts aches for the child-
Because, really, that's what you are-
Who chose me second
Even though you promised me,
It wasn't a choice
Just bad timing
And ****** luck.

Staring at this blank page
wondering what there is to write about.
Then I think of you,
and all the memories begin to flood my mind.
The good, the bad.
The love, the hate.
The laughs, the cries.
You think your words don't affect me when in reality they do.
I don't tell you because sometimes I fear you.
Don't worry though, as long as I'm with you, I don't care what happens to me.
Your love shines through brighter than your anger.

On A snowy day
My heart took flight
I am not sure
If those feelings that I felt
Were completely right
With love you may never know
One day
What you feel is so right
Then years later
Your soul and heart break apart
Then that love you knew
Is lost in the blizzard
You are left with a cold frozen heart
But on that snowy day
My heart took flight
No matter if the love would last
Or like the winter
Was only a season
To come in a flash
And cause awkward stumbles and firsts
Then move out of sight
Either way
That day I fell in love
And no matter
If I can know the probability that it will last
I choose to love
And be loved back
Because like winter
Among all the fright
There is beauty all around
And warmth to be found
Somewhere just beyond it all
So I choose love
However long it chooses me

I choose you.
You and your stupid mood swings
your ridiculous hair
your awkward smile.

I choose you.
You and your crumpled shirts
your genuine laugh
your twinkling eyes.

I  choose you.
You and your smug face
your long fingers
your bruised knees.

I choose you.
You and your strange mind
your lame jokes
your uncanny ability to **** me off.

I choose you.
I have always chosen you.
I will always choose you.
Nothing will ever change that.
You will always be my choice.
*Even when I am not yours anymore.

The Jolteon
The heart is pure
Containing the love
It is born with

As time passes
The mind is distanced
From the heart

The body grows
Distorts and contorts
Moving further from the heart

It is the truth that reconnects
The person to the heart
For them and others

Others may like you
But do you like yourself
That is the question
They failed to tell
String it along
Like one huge game
Play the right moves
Say the right things
To uncover the truth
Just hold your breath
Others may leave you
Just try your best

I took her
To a special spot
So we could share
In each other's embrace
Some place private
Away from the clubs
Noise and havoc
