So many misinterpreted metaphors
make me cringe
''are you trying to ruin poetry for everyone''
but I hide my damp eyes behind my fringe
because I mustn't argue and my teachers are never wrong
They sing without a meaning or lyric in their song
we are taught to write what they want to hear
not the truth we feel inside our hopes and fears

But i must turn the other cheek
to get my degree I need..when home I ponder, I weep
because it was the school that killed poetry
for many of my peers..
But all is not lost..wipe away those tears
Grab the pen that feels ethical
the paper that doesn't deceive, doesn't lie
and write a poem that you can feel
you'll get out of school alive
(You know who you are who started this haha!)..Don't get me wrong I love teachers in general..I plan on becoming an awesome one someday too :)

I
get to hold onto this
Lit up the summer
till the glory in winter
I
woke up
on the same bed
teeth was dry
music was my guy
When
heart and klef treble floats
moods and rhythm
unite in throat
vent
Emotions
vague to obvious
words and biases
heart potion
music
Embrace me
quell the flare
harmony in the air
bliss in my day

There is only one place I wish to be
Unfortunately for me
You see it takes two
Both you & me
And that is not the place you wish to be
There is still only one place I want to be
Hoping time will provide
Show us what is right
Maybe in time things will change
Feelings will rearrange until we agree
There is only one place I wish to be
I hope someday there we meet

Wolves and Lilies
Voices in my head,
            wanting to be heard.
            but even in the midst
            of my insanity,
            still,
            *I choose you.

Wolves and Lilies
A weeping daisy*
     In a field of
     laughing red roses,
     *Alone and surrounded
     By thorns.

Like people,
         books are waiting
         to be touched
         and loved.

We are the stars*
       stolen from the sky.
We owe to hide
       but we choose
       to *shine

The butterflies*
        turned into ravens,
Feasting over
        my ***** feelings

Wolves and Lilies
She is the brightest star
        in the night sky.
But in the morning,
        when the sun comes,

              *she is nothing.

You may have died young,
        but as long as
        my words live,

*You will never grow old.
