The soft crackle of sand
pail under moonlight,
lapped up by an ocean's returning tongue,
time and again.
Waves hello.

Look above.
You will see fireflies in plain view
yet static and beyond the the reach of hand,
then I remember the promenade clearly
where yours once found gaps in mine.
Ambling parallel to the shore, with a grip
the sea could not part,
but the word 'forever' could not anchor.
Waves goodbye.

I’m falling
Falling

Down the abyss of dementia.
Caressed by darkness.
Entranced by silence’s lullaby.
Sing me the song of melancholy.
Play me the tune of self-loathing.
I want to dance to the beat of regret,
An eternal replay of past mistakes.
Leave me be! My tongue yearns to lick
The wounds that adorn my decaying body.
Let me swim in my beloved salty
Lake of tears,
A cistern polluted by haunting memories.
I’m surrounded by multitudes, yet
I’m utterly alone.
Alone.
Or am I?
What is that you say?
The key to my chains has been in my pocket
All along?!
You’re telling me the pain will mollify
Once I remove my hand from the fire?!
Ingenious.
What a brilliant proposition.
I’m the captain of my own ship, and it will
Sail to wherever my heart lies.

The battle is far from over, since the battle is yet to be won.
As of now in the present the battle continues.

The risk of failure of failure remains somewhere at the back of mind.
The thought about failure not only triggers, but also gives surge to an anxiety from time to time.

What now?
What next?
What else?

The battle continues.
Not only the battle needs to be fought,
also important is to fight the battle with a positive mindset and a never give up attitude.

Important to keep in mind the fact that a win in the battle is the only thing that needs to be achieved at any cost.

Agreed and accepted that winning and losing remains part of the game
Still it’s winning that makes the real difference
It’s winning that counts.

As and when you win, then only things and people around you change
Definitely everything will not change on it's own,
nor do the people around you,
it's the mindset that undergoes a change
It's winning that makes all the difference.

The outside world looks at winners from a different point of view.
So once you win, then things change for you.

The outside world will then look at you differently.
Even you have to change your views about the outside world and look at with the same level of difference in mind
At first you were no one,
now that you have won,
winning has given you an identity, a new face.

Definitely, then it will come to mind that it’s winning that has made all the real difference.
It’s winning that counts

Keeping in mind the fact that the battle needs to be won,
move ahead with a desire to win and fight the battle till the very last moment in time.

Dreams do indeed come true
But not often by chance,
Mostly it comes down to
Hard work, perseverance.
Who counts on destiny,
Who never really tries,
Alas may never see
Any dreams realised.

For life owes us nothing
No matter how we yearn.
If we want anything
Then it has to be earned.
Life is what we make it,
Our dreams are like that too,
Without working for it
Dreams will never come true.

So if you have a dream
You would like to come true
The outcome it would seem
Depends largely on you.

Up above in the sky the sun is still hot and blazing
Routine activities of the day are in full progress
Like everyone else even I know there will be less work of substance that will be available to do throughout the day
Only a few moments throughout the day will be interesting,
otherwise apart from that the present day will be same like the other days.
It's routine and it's boring, so I decide to take a leave from my work
Purpose behind the same been simple, to do something different from routine.

Once decided, I leave behind me the routine for the day as I enter into nature and its surroundings to spent my entire day.
Clear blue skies with few white clouds can now be seen moving here and there
Everything seems to have changed from prior
Each and everything seems different from routine
It’s life one gets to experience amidst nature and it’s beautiful surroundings.

The wind that blows
The water in the river that flows
The grass that grows along the riverside
The trees that sway to and fro
The clouds that move, above in the sky
Everything seems to be so normal, something that might have been seen before in past, yet so fascinating.

Life be so different, so calm, so quiet and still so interesting.
It seems as if this moment of life continues forever.

The world looks different from top of the mountain
Having reached there, the air there is clean and pure while the weather remains cool.
It's a cool, soothing experience admist nature and it's surrounding.

Green trees, green plants, green grass spread everywhere, all around the entire surrounding with the water from the river that keeps flowing.

Life seems to be so beautiful, yet so different
Still this aspect of life seems to be much more fascinating
Not only such moments in life are enjoyed, but even cherished for a long, long time,
something that will remain in the memory for quite sometime even when routine life, which will commence very soon.
