We have fun
maybe too much fun
innocent until proven guilty
and I wouldn't trade
this madness for sanity
not today or tomorrow
mine forever
the uncertainty of what I,
what we,
have right now is
positively mental
at least we'll remember these days
until we die
or at least until we're old
and unable to conceive
hopefully able to appreciate
what we created here
five minutes of mayhem
a quarter hour of  madness
and I embrace this
like it was pure joy
careless
and free
Although we take steps
forward day by day
there are those who
will always find themselves
staying among the past
bindings of lost time
and sorrow and gratitude
of those who have yet
to catch up with the
real wonders of life
still in that region of
where a golden life is
all that matters
still need to work their
way to the threshold
that darkens the golden
rays of life so to open
the eyes of those who
are so blind and are still
there lost in old times.
Because music geekdom was one of my life choices
I've found i can get attached to voices
Not the ones in my head, for inside i still remain dead
But the accent, the catch before you get emotional,
Sticks to my waxed ears like used lotion so
I miss voices at times, if those i care of mostly,
So i try to imagine that voice coursing through my head so softly
Wobbly is my memory, so i hold on to everything that i can
But hearing those special voices again, thats a happiness no one can plan

where did the day go?
i look back
and touch last year
like it was yesterday -
i look back
and i hear you calling my name
down the hallway -
dust on the lampshade
coffee stains on the counter -
half empty ash tray
and since then my life's never
gotten better - rotten ever -
since i suppose - since

You are a ghost,
In this world alone.
Searching for hope,
The kind you'll never know.

You are a fool,
Someone to be abused.
You are a tool,
Stick to the rules.

You are a shadow,
You are a freak show,
Love you will never know,
Straight to hell you will go.

You are a ghost,
In this world alone.
Searching for hope,
The kind you'll never know.
These are some negative thoughts I have about myself sometimes.

Winter trembles on the horizon,
Afraid to return to humankind.
People hate because it's cold,
But to turn it away is to be blind.

The grasp of tragedy is powerful,
Insurmountably bonded to our lives.
Terrorizing our very dreams,
Prickling at our spines like knives.

Outstretch your hands to the snow,
Coax it into your embrace.
We have all known the cold,
We have all been to that place.

Do you know how it feels to writhe in this heat?
When you are frozen inside?
To see the lives of others continue,
While you struggle not to cry.

Equilibrium will be reached when snow is abundant,
Blanketing the ground like a flowing sheet of paper.
When the warmth recedes to another place,
When breath spills from lips like vapor.

Winter trembles on the horizon,
Afraid to return to humankind.
People hate because it's cold,
But to turn it away is to be blind.
