Words can empower us
It can break us and devour our hearts
Until we're cold as stone

Words
Poetry, fictional stories
are all lifelines to our souls

To help reconnect with each other
To heal the wounded and broken

We are reborn through words
both hurtful and heartfelt

I write to remind myself
That I am never alone
That I can make it through this
I can conquer my darkest fears and the lies

I will prevail
The moon became my sun.
The stars became my clouds.
The night became my day.
And you?
You became my abyss...
I miss you in the morning
when the sun peaks through the blinds,
I miss you in the afternoon
when I'm working all the time,
I miss you in the evening
when I close my weary eyes.
All I want is to tell you I love you,
to hold you through the night.

i know i’m a werido but half my heroes
have pierced earlobes so i don’t fear those
who rose from someone to some zero.

How many more tears will I drip
On smoldering bridges
Before I accept that
They have already more than burned
those who say it's a beautiful feeling
to fall in love
have always been loved
in return
