but music lyrics were your thing.
i tried my hand at lyrical
but they didn't ring.

you were always there
even if you were late.
i always waited
no matter the date.

you were kind and sweet
caring and patient.
i was scared
but you didn't care.
you waited,
until i was ready.

She shines brightly, as she rises,
illuminating the world.
Pulling everyone in
all eyes are on her.
She fades and hides, as time goes,
changing with each passing day.
Even when you think she is gone.
She is there.
And when she is lonely,
when she thinks no one is watching.
I will be there
to bask in her beauty.

dark waters rising
a flooding of emotions
and a heart longing.

now and forever
at the edge of the river
my eyes are searching.
