And I've lost focus of everything...
That matters anyways
Because the image of your lips
Softly trailing from my neck
To hers.
Is too engraved in my mind.
And I wish your lips
We're still engraved on my skin,
But the light brush work has
Worn off.
And now all I have is his lips,
That always feel like rocks
Probably from all that whiskey.
We've both had too much.
I just can't stop drinking of you.

Me and you, we fall like rain
We spin, we crash, and we cascade.
You and I, we burn like flames
              We dance, entwine, a masquerade.

Pulling each other deep within the most sacred spaces
              We invade.

With a single look, one secret touch
right before our lips just brush.

You are mine and I am lost in the feeling of your fingertips
tracing up and down my spine.

I was looking for a reason not to admire you,
but everything you do seems magical to me.
I was looking for a reason not to look for you,
but all I can see is your face in every corner.

I was looking for a reason not to think of you,
but you're the center of my mind.
I was looking for a reason not to talk to you,
but every time that you're near,
I'm dying for you to notice me.

I was looking for a reason not to be lonely,
but I shuffle my playlist and it's a sad song.
I was looking for a reason not to love you,
but you're name is all over my heart.

Treading softly with fingers on your skin
our eyes locked on one another
gotta go soon, can't stay too long
every second with you is time well spent
though, I wonder if you feel the same
hearts beating as one
eventually we'll give in to
reduced sleep and nights spent drawing lazy circles in our wounds

From dusk til dawn
one thought on my mind
recoiling at the thought of anyone else
everything is you
various ways to ask you the same, but
even I can't figure out how, instead just
reveling in the way you say my name.
Right.

You fall in love,
And then,
You fall out of love.

You started singing love songs,
Describing how even in the worst of times, everything seems to fall in place,
Despite how bad some things are, the flowers in the spring is all you can smell of.

And then,

People talk about how much it hurts,
How you'd rather have your bones broken since you have 206 of it because
The heart being the way it is, 1. Only 1.

If that is so,
Maybe you shouldn't describe it as falling 'in' love,
because
It creeps all the way in your veins down to the very core of your being.

Maybe, just maybe,
You should fall 'on' love,
Because then,
You won't feel the pain of departing when it's something you smother across your heart like peanut butter on a toast rather than inside your heart.

Or nah?

It's nothing personal really, but it's just something I thought of. Or nah? haha

Haunted Poem
11/10/2014

Sometimes you feel haunted by the past,
and sometimes you feel haunted by the present.
... Neither are very easy to escape.

When** you said you loved me
Did You imagine yourself kissing her months later or did you just Stop caring about the future all in all because I like to know when
Loving me was so difficult for you or did you even love
Me at all

I wish I knew...
Was it your choice
Or did faith draw the line?
Were the stars not aligned
when you left,
leaving me aside?
Do you have conscience
of your selfish acts?
I'd rather think so
Yet we were just kids
Living on the edge of innocence.
