Mother nature has a cold
Mother nature has a cold that fact is getting old
Mother nature is getting moody
She gladly shared her cold with Jack Frost and assigned him some of her duties
He soon became mad and dumped some frigid temperatures on the Northern States
When he found out that the North is used to the cold temperatures
He thought it would be fun to send some snow to the Southern states
He watched the people scratch their heads wondering how to deal with this unexpected surprise, with a hint of mischief in his eyes
Mother nature has a cold I hope she gets better soon
Mother natures cold is making me wish for the month of June
I am sick with the Influenza and thought of this, maybe this one was Fever inspired
Hope you like it anyway

Somedays I wish

you and I

would get caught alone

in a life and death situation where nothing matters anymore and any responsibilities or complications that used to exist have faded because we are going to die anyway so I could find out what is really on your mind, so I could tell you everything, because why not at that point? So I could tell you everything I've done, how I really feel and why I did so many things, everything that has happened to me, and hope that maybe, in our last moments of life, you would understand.
Because in a situation where there is nothing left but emotions and loose threads and rough edges and unhappy endings, the truth just might come out.

The darkness fades away
As I search for that light
It finally dawned on me that I find the galaxies swirling in your eyes
The problem arose in that transcendence
Your beauty cannot be depicted in mundane sentences
I stopped thinking of such words that would not amount to your beauty
To make you see your worth is my duty
So I thought of ways to make you see
To do that, I will express what I feel
Maybe not until I make sure it's real
But love, just know
I think of you in poetry and prose
Oh what a wonderful muse.

When I was young
I was addicted to my thumb
So older and still
The child in me beat at its walls

Till I threw him away

I was addicted to tears
Sloshing from my eyes
Like the sight of overflowing
Into my family

Until I threw them away

I was addicted
To doing the wrong
To challenge the right in my life
It eventually won

Until I threw it away

And then, in a burning fever
I knew I was too light
Thrown too free
Of all the human chains to each other

Until I picked them up again

So, the long and short
The nutshell
Throwing away sorrows and accepting
Them back, what's my addiction?

I am addicted to playing fetch with myself
Thanks to Stardust for the poem idea

It's raining when I saw him
He's not afraid to get wet
I called him but he smiled
Then he opened his arms
While calling my name

Come and let us dance
There's music in the rain
Feel the warmth inside my heart
Come on, hold my hand

We are two fools in love
But we really don't care
We're not afraid to get wet
I want to hold his hands forever
While whispering my name

Come, my baby girl
Hear our love song from the rain
Feel the love inside my heart
Come on, hug me tight

We are two fools in love
Yes, we are two fools
And we are so much in love
We are so much in love...
There's  much love in the rain...
