I think my greatest weakness
Was that I never knew when to give up.

I fought to the death
I pushed too far
If I knew I was right
I made sure you knew too.

And I think your greatest weakness
Was that you gave up too easily.

You never screamed back,
Let me win when I shouldn't have,
Watched me defend arguments
You knew made no sense.

But one day,
Our roles changed.
You fought and I
Surrendered.

When we played "who can walk away first"
And I let you win.

i wonder if i've ever
made you nervous

if my name made goosebumps
bubble on your skin

and your breath
quicken

i wonder if i've ever
made you dizzy

if you've ever felt or fallen
as i for you

pushed to the edge
I met the swords blade
with a devilish grin

I am not afraid

Fresh in the morning,
The world renews every day.
Washed by the evening,
The Sun Makes Way.

The door was open
After all I needed was
A soft and slight push

Embracing concrete
A blanket of brittle stone
Never seemed so soft

Vividly coloured
Petals fill the crimson marks
Of blood-splattered streets

For I never longed
The eternal rest of mind
In sheer discretion

I want to traverse the oceans on a paper boat
Raise the sails - arise, onwards!
Amongst me my trustworthy crew
To sail the waves with ease
The mighty wind kisses your face

Heaving to nearest shore - Rejoice!
I turn around

Nothing.
I float in solitude amongst the surface
Waves curl around my neck
I sputter

And all that's left
Is the sound

Of ripping paper

Full Circle

Always stuck in the middle,
in the middle, 'till it's done.
Don't swing hard, don't swing fast,
don't aim high, only bunt.

It's the only way to hit,
if you ever want to run
to the base, to the place,
that you think that you want.

When you get to that spot,
you'll see you're nowhere close to done.
So you wait for your chance:
chance to run, run, and run.

Just to get where you started.
Back to home: oh what fun.
What's it take just to stop
all these circles in the sun?
I thought i died
But conjunctions are strange
and while i felt it happen
nothing had changed.

Some split moment
some sever in time
where every thing that happens
isn't always mine

Your boredom has become concerning
the look in your eyes so dull when you meet me
And i try to think maybe your just learning
I tend to wonder if you can even see me.

My movement makes you flinch
and it could be coincidence
But i like to hold my hopes with my faith.

I like to use my eyes to hold your face.
