A contagious smile, white as snow.
A favorite of mine, does he know?
I love the way he always cares
no matter what, he’s there.
A fighting friend by my side
who won’t let me run and hide.
He listens to my problems
and helps me solve them.
He’ll to put on a show
because it makes me feel better,
and will ask why that’s so.
It’s always the same;
He’s a light in the darkness.
I loved him.
Where the ocean collide
You and I wander
You’re probably out there
Caring for someone
I’m waiting for the time
I conquer your heart

now when I think of love I want to puke,
the thought literally makes me sick to my stomach because I know now what it does to a person

how you lose yourself in someone else and then all of sudden you can't breathe anymore without them

I am promising myself to never be that stretched again,
to give myself a try for once, relying only on my intuition and will to power through life and relationships, never getting too blind to see things as they really are

I wanna know what it's like to be so good alone that the earth shatters when I take a step,
electricity radiates from my skin and my soul is so loud it shouts through my eyes

I tried to find the poem
That poem about you.
You know which one
About a radio
About Electricity
I tried to find you in it.
I've looked and looked
For Anything
That could ever
Fill me up
Build me up
The way you did.

I'll find it someday.

Until then
I went and Bought
A pack of L&M Shorts
The Blues
Like you like

I couldn't bring poetry
So I brought
The Next
Best

two hearts
 Nov 2017 Zero Nine
lei
there's two hearts on the floor,

one of them is mine,

but both of them are yours.
Verse 1
It may take a little bit of passion, with a call to strive
Beyond a realm of satisfaction, aiming to arrive
A complex choice of moving forward, not left or right
Always keep the goal in sight
Of precious value locked inside
Standing in the face of pride
Always keep the dream alive

Chorus
You may not know the how, just recall the why
There may be obstacles, but it's your aim to try
Keep on aiming to the sky
You may have started small, encountering a fall
Just aim to go beyond, what seems impossible
You are truly wonderful

Verse 2
Of a journey that is not straight, that is challenging
Individual timing not late, you are so unique
A coming season to wait, in your soul to seek
A higher calling to complete
Of precious value locked inside
Standing in the face of pride
Always keep the dream alive

Chorus

Bridge
This is your moment, this is such a distinct time
Now is the time to own it, you're a gem refined
This is your moment, this is such a distinct time
Now is the time to own it, reach towards the sky

Chorus

Fall

It was raining when we first touched;
The sweet innocence of tipsy impulse.
Nothing too close, too real, not to me.

It was dark as we shared our burdens and fears;
Whispered words stumbling out in desperate breaths.
Certainty found in uncertainties.

It was the first snow of the year that I saw falling as I lay in your arms;
The gentle drift of gravity.
Now it's all too close, all too real. To me.

july hearne
the thoughts are never capable
so the clothes are always too tight
with short lived pauses of too big
once they have stretched out of shape

the unemployed summer has passed
the moths and their stealthy summer nights
live on
every sweater has three holes in the exact same places

life is never where you want it to be
as you live it wearing chewed up old sweaters

well that's misspent for you
sewing them holes up with the wrong color thread
waving hello to what ever is left
something about embarrassment no longer being a deterrent
"you may not have a car at all...

Diamond in the back, sunroof top
Diggin' the scene
With a gangsta lean"
