ARE THEY FOR THIS WORLD ?
He went there filled with hope that they'd give him a look,
thinking that he might get recognition from them.
He begged for just a smile to give him his lost post,
but that aim was too far from his hand just to claim.

Tactics were what could gain, but he was of good heart.
He would scowl to show them he was not satisfied.
Success, you always hide in the hand of deceit.
and deceit never was by his heart gratified.

Men of skills, you have built the great spires of the world,
and you wrote your great names to shine there at steep height.
Those whose hearts live for love are made not for this world,
and the spires fall on them as they are of short sight.

SOUL, BUT ALSO BODY
The saints obtained the grace that made
their souls so filled with holy faith
to live a life quite full of rest
and shining moons to fill their nights.

They were so cheerful as they lived
some bliss that they would find above.
They got sure that life would not end
and they would move from joy to grace.

That made them glad, but had a price.
that would depend on their steel force.
Could they accept to die so soon
on hurting cross or in hot oil?

That would depend on earthly strength.
Did they have what the Lord had owned.
He held His cross, but could they hold
a painful death in boiling oil?

That would count on what they could bear
with their flesh muscles and their will.
If they'd been weak, they would have failed
as faith would fail for lack of might.

LET'S JOIN HANDS.

People of a hateful grudge
are beheld through one we call a drudge
who has gained no outcome of avail.
That makes him so full of loudest wail.

They hate the people who can have
success in life and be so calm and suave.
They know how they can get respect from all
as they have set and reached a precious goal.

Most of us are not from either class.
Let's join hands; we may pass
gates of grudge and go straight to success.

He could not be any pride
of his father who worked hard
just to see him in a post
of which he could talk and boast.

He was humble; he was meek.
He was too shy just to speak.
That made his dad lose all hope

He lived for love and for peace
and to shun his dad's grimace.

Man is feelings; man is heart
though he is not always smart.

THE  VICEROY
What are you, man, but greatest work of art
in which the Lord has placed a mind to act?
He makes you master of His new-made world
and gives you choice to know the good and bad.

You chose to know, and ate from that fruit tree
to share the artist in what He can see.
As you got all that wit and wisdom gained,
God wants you to observe what's good and bad.

What's good is just to love what God has made,
to give them joy and all the needed aid.
God wants His art to enjoy peace on earth
and asks you, supreme art, to help its growth.

He asks you, viceroy, to love and be kind
and make them all in their best ways arrayed.
The other creatures don't know good and bad,
but you are wise and master of this world.

No length of time on earth to lose
Without an aim that cools the heart.
Life is too short; use all the clues
To find life gist ere you depart.

Life is a chance to find your peace

Your peace may come from works of art
That leave on earth a glorious fame

LOVE AND THE ENDLESS SOUL
Thoughts and feelings, you show man the way to life
as you make the mundane eyes see through the soul.
Man comes here not to consume his time and die,
but to live the endless love that Jesus lives.

Love is what the greatest Lord forever lives,
and shows it through His forgiveness on the cross.
He loves people and His love augments each day,
and will stay for endless life mixed with His soul.

Love's not made of flesh and blood that die and drain,
but of spirit that exists to live and stay.
It will fly on varied fields of nectar juice
that can give the soul of man the sweetest sense.

Live on, my soul, with my love, blessed both by God,
Who will give you hallowed grace and make you one.
Love makes you, my living soul, like Jesus Christ,
Who rose up from His dim grave to endless life.

DOES GOD SEND TO ETERNAL FIRE?
That who loves will get so feeble
though he is a mighty giant.
Those he loves might be mere weaklings.
They're for him the strongest power.

Mothers never hurt their babies
even if they cause them torments.
They endure their treatment gladly,
and they can't disturb their rapture.

Christ, Who is sublime perfection,
came to sacrifice His passion
to confer on little enfants
greatest joy to heal their torture.

He endured their spite and hatred
and did not request reprisal.
He just asked for full forgiveness
as they did not know their purpose.

Where are the people who see life
is full of charm that's crime to waste?
There is something hidden somewhere
that makes a person satisfied.

But where is that most obscure gem
and how can we advance to it?
So few can know. It's well concealed,

The jewel's your effect on men,
and making them so pleased with selves.
Look for this target that quite few
can find and practise on mankind.

A lot of people are humane;
they can achieve what makes them stars.
Be that who've helped them; God tells you,

LOVE FROM ABOVE
The mother cleans her child while he cries loud.
He thinks she is too rough and awfully bad.
He does not know her act is kind and good,
but deems she is too cruel and always rude.

She gives him medicines of awful faste.
He screams to accuse her of being a beast.
He would like to grow up to have revenge
on that cruel woman who stirs all his rage.

She does not care but does what should be done
to her most babied but quite thoughtless son.
Her duties are not easy and they need
a lot of efforts with no gratitude.

My Lord, You loved a lot and bore your cross,
but that led you to sadness and great loss.
Despite all that, You forgave who killed You,
and said, "Forgive; they don't know what they do."

THE SUBLIME FIGHTER

How dare you, weak bird, such a cat resist
When it attacks your chicks and your small nest ?
You know that your defence will have no hope,
Yet you defend your chicks till dead you drop.

The birds around just look at you and laugh
As your fight with this cat is mad not safe,
And wonder how you can fight such a foe ;
You should be out of mind such act to do.

The bird falls dead and her chicks are devoured ;
The cat leaves with the nest void and destroyed.
The watching birds approach to cast a look
At that dead bird whose wounds cause severe shock.

They find her lying near the trunk of tree.
With broken beak but face so full of glee
As if the face is saying," l'd died first
And did not see my chicks in blood immersed. "

ARRANGED OR COINCIDENTAL?
How strange is life when you see how people get wed.
He is a boy when his wife's mum gives birth to her.
Perhaps by chance, he feels so pleased, not knowing why
as his own future wife has come to this wide world.

They are sometimes from different sites and varied states,
and fed with thoughts that make them yield divergent fruit.
One can be fed with golden spoon and one with hand,
and one has gone to famous schools, while one is dumb.

They move and travel round the world seeking for gain,
and they get near and then depart, but stay apart.
They drive, they fly and then they sail to meet at last
and have the blessings of their Lord to get one heart.

HIS WAY IS TOO HARD.
How can you read about His deeds
and stay quite neutral in your love?
He had great passion on the weak
and saved them from the senseless hearts.

He saved Magdalene from the stones;
they'd have no pity on her head.
They moved like insects in their hands
to bleed her skin and that of Christ.

He was not frightened by their flint.
Can l behave just as He did
or hurry to hide in my house
and think of self a saint in creeds?

He loved us much and wept man's fate.
We dressed Him with a crown of thorns.
He said, " Forgive them," and we said,
" We got rid of whose way is hard."

Strongest people are so glad;
they don't care when things are bad.
They look with a smiling face
what is bad they can erase.

Beware of those who are weak
who try hardest not to speak.
If they start they cannot stop.
Their shout reaches highest top.

They live under greatest strain
shackled by an iron chain.
Woe to you if that chain broke,
it would lead to such fierce stroke.

When strong, you get high by strength.
You fear none, not even death.
After success, you don't care
if your death is nigh and there.

Salt of earth you've lost your taste;
You forget the words of Christ.
What will happen to the crowd
If your saltiness is void ?

Food of life, where is that cheer
When mums with their food appear.
Current salt has got bad smell
Driving children to expel.

I recall when women spent
Their whole mornings hearts content
With the scent which their food gave
When food's smell drove all to crave.

Where are food's smells of the past
When salt gave taste that would last ?
They have gone to no return
As salt smell we hate and spurn.

Life has lost its proper taste
Since salt's flavour was debased.
Great hope we have that Christ's hand
Salt of taste will give our land.

THE BIRD AND THE TREE

You wait just for that special bird
That's stayed with you since parents fed
And share with it long days and nights
In ways no stranger interrupts.

Your leaves give it the coolest shade
And its ripe figs by you are made.
Its food is tasteless if not you

Your haven is the tranquil place.
You refuge it from those that chase.
Its luckless days affect your heart
As your dry days drive it so ****.

You are its heart as it is yours.
Your tender branches make it snooze.
Your soul is one with its free soul
And both are joined with That great Whole.

WE'RE AWAITING CHRISTMAS.
Greatest hope to mankind will occur
in that cave faraway from the rich.
He's the king of all kings and He'll start
His own life in a cave shepherds have.

He conceives that His task is so hard.
They will end His short life on a cross,
and the start will be poor with no cash,
but He's pleased; His soul lives to no end.

He'll tell man nothing can spoil the glee;
a poor life, a harsh end won't bring fear
as man knows that his soul has no end
in a place full of calmness and peace.

Come, my Lord, show us that one is glad
as his joy overflows from inside
where no worms can destroy what he feels
which is wrought by Your hand of high mace.

I was enraptured by a song
sung by a chanter of years passed.
I thought about that who performed
if he'd fulfilled his task in life.

The song was praising serious love
that was of pure and sincere sense.
I felt elated by his words
that moved good feelings in my heart.

I felt so glad for this clean man
who sang something of useful aims.
He praised his Lord for His good world
and now, he should be well content.

How pleased are those who achieved what
was great and useful for mankind.
They lived so active useful years
and now, they're glad about past deeds.

What are you, thoughts,
but like what can be brought
by gazing eyes that look
at smoke that comes from frankincense
to charm my eyes
and fill my heart with piety?

It's easy for them to lift me.
At times, they might be strong
and take me far too high
to spheres which are so sweet.

and find myself in that old world

THE  REAL  MAN
The wound is deep and none can see the blood.
They have soft hearts that can't deal with the wound.
They turn their faces not to hurt their eyes.
He gives the hand of cure though his heart cries.

He gives the help and leaves; the others come
to show that they have saved  from serious harm.
He looks with happy eyes at who is saved;
they show that through their work he is retrieved.

He lives great cheers as long as those around
are joyful and they speak with merry sound.
His voice is lowest and his tone is meek.
He says what cheers when he intends to speak.

He has great trust, but his face does not show.
Only the cruelest drive him to a row.
He gets engaged in fights though his heart's soft;
He never injures but defends his post.

Just a word with warmth of heart
He awaits, his sail to start.
Such a trip to that far place
Needs a look with profound sense.

Looking round him but no one
Casts a look ere he is gone.
Lonely heart will lose the nerve
As he wants someone to love.

His ship sets sail into sea
With no hands to waive or plea.
Words of care he did not hear;
Absence, longing none will bear.

No one shows a bit of love
Or avows a wish to live.
He will survive for himself;
None loves him, but he loves life.

When a person is so brawny,

Power makes a giant pity

surrender except their passion.
They will fear their severe sorrow

you should know that its performer

People are opposed to people.
Don't they perceive their own failure?
All of them are poorest creatures.
Each can see how much he suffers.

They advance from snags to harder
frightened by their horried voyage

Help your brother; he's in trouble,
but you feel just what you go through.
Sympathize, and give him rescue.
All of us have just one Father.

Don't await his loss with laughter
or create a snare to trap him.
It's enough the hardship he has.
Stand with him, your Lord will help you.

ARE THEY HUMAN BEINGS?
How can life beget some souls quite void
of emotions and give them man's form
to connect their flesh for *** then split
after getting their cheap needs like beasts?

Don't they feel when they relate two hearts,
nothing can sever what they have joined?
Sweetness rules their hearts and steals their love,
without which no joy of life survives.

How can one get joined with that sweat dear,
whose flesh can give them such lovely warmth
and go, leaving their hearts fully trapped
after spending minutes both adored?

TOO  LATE  TO  CHANGE
He spent his youth consulting books
about the thoughts that were the best.
He worked so ******* thoughts and words
that gave a pledge of a false bequest.

When young, he earned what was enough
but could not store for his old age.
The books he read instructed him
when matching thoughts, wealth would soon  cringe.

His youth was spent on books of verse
that made him know the black from white,
but life taught him that only gold
could bring respect and prove him right.

He looked around and found his books
could not give him the cost of life.
They were like paupers on his desk
that could not save his kids from grief.

DON'T   PREACH !
Don't preach with words you don't intend to live
and make your hearers weak by what you give.
You inject poisons that makes others frail;
then it gets easy for your sword to ****.

When preachers make the devils get docile,
it will be easier for them to get hostile.
The devil none can **** with that great ease,
but when docile, you treat him as you please.

When preachers use their words for their own gain,
I feel they get much worse than ****** satan.
At least the satan is quite known to all
that he works for the odious lore of hell.

Don't preach, but show man deeds that convey love
through gifts and tender hearts that can forgive,
through tears that well and shame a sobbing heart
while man tries hard to hide them but he can't.

The world still has some people who believe
in that pure life in which Saint Valentine
was keen on seeing spouses would attain
the life which was so full of Jesus' bliss.

It is the kind of love that will increase
till it becomes the lord of the two hearts.

The two will get like one. None can divide
as each will see their duty in the world
through what the other needs to have a smile
and when it shows itself, he feels so pleased.

Each yearns to see the joy on their mate's face.
It makes them love the world and live at peace.
Their world will start to be quite full of mirth
when they get old but still their love is young.

I think that God wants all mankind

A craven act derives great shame
And makes you feel you are too small.
You commit it and proudly claim
That strength is master of us all.

What makes a person use his might,
Opposing all those cheated crowd,
Or shouting for the death of Christ
When all their leaders wished Him dead?

Saint Peter escaped shy to speak
Though he was faithful and quite strong.
The poor could shout and so the weak
As they were shouting with the throng.

But Peter wept as he could not
Say what he thought to wrathful men.
Words of the truth would cost a lot;
Who can fight beasts in their wild den?

When they see you, they retreat,

I kindly ask the people who might ken :
why do we come to earth if life will end
and take us to a grave so grim and dark,
no hope for rebirth on the better land ?

What are you, life, if he who builds a name
like that the man who built the Sphinx has shown
if in a jiffy he departs with death
that covers him with earth where he is thrown ?

Can such a man have courage to build what
the ancient Greeks and Romans could construct
when they lived in the guardianship of gods
who gave them hope of some rewards to get.

People of Europe, where are your great men
who built your land and made you rule the world?
Have they gone with their faith and left their kids
to argue trivial thoughts of success void ?

THE  BIG  LIAR
I never mind the liars who always lie;
I find them quite witty as all descry
they are mere liars and their words aren't true,
so they can't cause offence to me and you.

But what l hate is that l hear a lie
coming from that whom people qualify
to be an honest man and all believe
what he says as they can't the truth coceive.

He hides great gain behind the smoothest speech
that people praise and like and find so rich
while richness comes to it through untrue fame,
and status that brings him a glorious name.

THE PRECIOUS DAWN
I'm glad that life at last began to smile
as all the time it went against my will.
Then it sent me a spark to paint my thoughts
in verse and have my fame the world to fill.

I got so pleased my life was not in vain
and fame began to gleam and give me hope.
I worked so hard ; l was so pleased l found
what gave my soul a dawn to clear my scope.

The fields and sights were there, but it was dark.
The spark could light the fields by shining dawn.
At last, l knew that joy was always there,
but waiting for the spark to make it known.

What's the use of earning lots
of the precious gold and coins?

A  WORTHY  LESSON

My Lord, You taught me basic truth;
The worth of man lies not in wealth.
You came to earth a man so poor
And died on cross without grandeur.

The Maker of the earth and space,
Who could destroy those who would face
Endured much pain on His death cross
And died too young accepting loss.

His mother's heart was torn by pain
To see her Son in such sharp bane.
A word from Him could end it all,
But what He wished was useful goal.

He could in His main aim succeed,
Defeat His death, in life proceed.
He showed that all was in His hand,
And resurrected back to land.

He cleared to man that He had strength
To trample foes as He crushed death
To show that power lies within
Not for vain wreck but useful gain.

I perceive my life should have a task.
Each one comes to earth with his own charge.
People get the strength to reap their joy
through the calmness which their souls adore.

How can l obtain the tranquil soul
that can shun the pain of burning flame?

save a feeling that my task is done.

How can man endure the scorch of hell
that will destroy his exhausted nerves
when he feels that time is passing by
and his duty is still not performed?

Man, your heaven starts from life on earth.
Duty is the key that gives you glee.

He is the norm which man desires
if one aspires to what is good.
He's done all what those He has loved
will find so good for their own world.

to serve yourself or who are near.
You can't have both as selfish men

THE LORD REVISITS US.

God wished to come and visit us
To see His children in their house.
He came to stay just for some time
To show His care for their own home.

By chance, He came to where l pray,
A church l went to on Sunday.
He came in clothes so cheaply sewn
Like those He had previously worn.

He came to church where we were dressed
So richly and had finest scent.
When He came in, the crowd were shocked.
How could that Man come as He looked ?

He looked at them when they paid alms
How they paid them with proudest palms.
He was so sad for what He saw
And calmly as He came He drew.

NOT GREY BUT FULLY WHITE

They could achieve their goal to make him feel quite sole.
No one would be with him as he cannot cajole.
He has an only aim which is his love aflame
can lift up all those dear, while they all wish him shame.
They've seen him as a foe who'll stop their lights to glow.
He's come to take their gem. They will not it bestow.

He's thrown outside his house, a lonely star in space.
It sends its rays around, but none will them embrace.
Rejection's got its fate while their stars are elate;
they gladly in one group their triumph celebrate.

Their stars are bright and glad, with merry robes they're clad.
This is how he wants them though he's a thrown out lad.
He has one Friend whose hand gave joy to all His land.
All left Him quite alone though His love is so grand.
That Friend's mind makes him sure that those whose hearts are pure
won't mix with greys as hues as white's what they live for.

THE GREATEST MAN EVER
Jesus, You combine two natures,
one of man and one so mighty.
You created man and oceans,
and You lived a normal human.

Who can tell me if a person
can ever mention a great man
who has been greater than Jesus
though He lived a third of man's life?

Who could raise the dead and He rise,
cure the blind and forgive His foes?
Who could admit men to heaven
as He said to that on His right?

Forgiveness and not rules of force
was His laws and all His teachings.
Who could love His foes and let them
**** Him, but He, Christ Who loves all?

SACRIFICE AND SYMPATHY
He was the Man who gained the souls
in every aspect of His life.
His foes were bigots and they wished
to **** Him and to please their God.

When Christ revived the dead, all felt
their greatest grief was changed to glee,
and people would attach to Him;
He should be killed with those who raised.

He did not fear what would occur
and cured the blind an raised the dead.
He loved to dry the tears and cool
the burning hearts that needed rest.

He knew the cross would wait for Him.
He kissed it as it cheered who wept.
Where are we from that sublime Man
Who died so that He would bring joy.

THE UNFAILING AXIS
We know that man is weak and dazed
and eazily charmed by *** and gold.
Not all who say they have deep faith
are forged by that most purging flame.

A strong axis can make a wheel
well-fixed and fit to have its role,
but wheels can differ in their stuff
and each will show what it is worth.

The clergymen are human beings
who have devotion and their flaws.
They are like us and have mistakes,
but those who're good can do a lot.

The Lord gives man what can produce,
the torch which gives a perfect flame.
It will set right what darkness spoils
and fill the soul with sublime warmth.

WORK IS THE FATHER OF JOY.
What gives the cheerfulness of heart
except you, work, that my strength dare,
on that most thoughtful and dear verse
that could steal all my greatest care.

I started writing day and night,
but none of value could appear,
yet l was certain that my work
would give results my heart would cheer.

My labour was not gauged by wealth
but by expecting a surprise.
It was too late, but l was sure
that something would abruptly rise.

No jewels would confer a sign
but work would make me shun wrong deeds.
I kept on working, now l find
a sort of joy my feeling needs.

WHAT MORE DO WE NEED?
Let me assure myself and have no care
as Christ wants all mankind to be aware
He gives us life and won't allow grim death
to end it with the end of life on earth.

He made mankind and then He took his form.
He loved him much and shared him his own home.
Then He assured him that He could revive
those who had died and bring them back alive.

No one save Him among the humankind
could restore sight to men who were born blind
and raise Himself from death on the third day
to make saint Thomas believe and obey.

What more do l need to feel or behold?
Can't all that prove He is the mighty Lord?
What l have mentioned was seen by the twelve
and written for mankind it to preserve.

IT'S HIS CHOICE.
A man is not more than a child
in his small knowledge of the world.
His soul is from his divine Lord;
it tends to live and death abhors.

He loves to live, but life goes fast.
He has no means to stay alive.
The Lord loves him but wants His love
to make him blameless like Himself.

When man opposes God's good will
and follows what makes him choose sin,
its blemish gives him great headache,
but he still yearns for endless being.

It is his choice to stay alive
with those who reap what Eden yields,
or get the dirt and live some years
and die in his poor choice of vice.

THE REMINDER

He has been such a dear old friend.
We haven't met for years on end.
I met him after such long time.
Our joy regained its old prime.

I was so glad to see him well.
The same his eyes could clearly tell.
Then like a child when he is glad
His skill he showed though it was bad.

He showed me what he called fine art,
That expressed what would make him last.
It would give him what he aspired
Though far below what  arts required.

I showed him great support and zest,
But could not help myself request:
Why does man waste his short life span
To leave his mark to mortal man ?
