There is a child in the desert,
a child that never sleeps,
his eyes are always wide open,
for darkest secret that he keeps.

There is a child that knows everything,
a child,with pockets that are full of sand,
eaven if you find him somewhere,
he speaks a lanuage that you can't understand.

There is a child that walks slowly,
a child,who made people out of sand to play ,
built a playground,to play forever ,
parentless child ,and Time is his name.

Liz And Lilacs

Hands

I woke to his hot hands
resting on my stomach,
Just above the scars on my hips.
He looked down at me,
His eyes tracing my scars,
Sadness deep in his eyes.
You were crying in your sleep,
he explained.
His big tee shirt was pushed up slightly,
and he gently tugged it down, covering my belly.
*I wanted to comfort you.

As if this would happen.
It might be nice not to wake up alone after all my **** nightmares.

foggy christmas day

It's forty five degrees today
it's still the coldest day of the year
I just keep asking myself
what the hell am I doing here

the sun comes up and I lay down
I'd rather sleep the light away
I'd rather be by myself
on this foggy Christmas day

Once upon a Wedding day

if you were a colour
then you would be blue
like a simple weding charm,
that i gave to you.

if you were a colour,
then you would be blue,
like a warm summer rain,
that falls on your curves.

if you were a colour ,
then you would be blue,
like an ocean calming wawes,
that sing me a blues.

if you were a colour ,
you could only be blue,
like a sadness in my lonely heart
when i think of you.

if you were a colour
you would be deep blue,
like the marble on your wedding dress,
when you said "i do".

if you were a colour
you'd be blue,
the colour of my heart
the colour of my solitude.

wedding is such a great place for being in pain

Pretend

Years have passed since we began,
i know you like the back of my hand,
your laughter,weeping,i know them well,
in front of me you can't pretend.

Your smile shows more pain then ever,
it seems like we are coming to an end,
i couldn't make you happy at all,
there is no need for you to pretend.
~
Your kisses taste like cheries no more,
that should be enough for me to understand,
you can not love me like you did before,
there is no need to pretend.
~
Your gaze is distant,i feel alone,
i should have known where we stand,
i know you are not in love with me,
there is no need to pretend.
~
You must not feel down today,
you mustn't worry, my heart will mend,
i expected this pain to come, so
....there is no need to pretend.

well this poem needed a bit of tears to be completed.

christmas in iraq

They don't feel like they have a reason
while they suffer, ignorance does what it pleases
all they know is that life is leaving
and they never heard of jesus

there will be no sleigh bells ringing
all they hear are the bombs that have missed us
they feel the coming bullets stinging
and they don't know its christmas
