How do I become so emotionally caught up
Even by a stranger’s fleeting glance
Someone loses somebody and just that fast
I’m starry-eyed and caught in a trance

Love is fulfilling yet hardly satisfied
And hate a fire that burns you up inside
Time is the essence of what we pretend to need
Space is so endless yet only temporarily
Life makes us strive to never want to die
Death makes us hope for at least one more try

But it seems our emotions rule our existence
And to gain control we must be more consistent
Because this compassion can be such a curse
And the fruits of life can cause such a thirst
What I’m very vaguely trying to express
Is that life in general can be such a mess

Poetry is ***
... it is ecstasy
Makes you want to speak through me
Bulletproofs me

Poetry is complex
... it is simplicity
And means nothing

No, these words aren't for the birds
They ARE me.

Open books of cryptic mysteries
I re-read each stanza twice
Deep meanings begin to surface
Emotional chemistry entice

I am but a skeleton key
Struggling to comprehend
I jimmy the locks of Pradip poems
My simplistic mind ascends

Sally soft warm place
Reflect upon our souls
Rained-On Parade a night
Of pain I've never known

Weeping Willows guide
Her spirituality shines
Nap's words freely flow
Creep up from behind

Noose upon my darkness
Depoet mind that bends
Srj1000 my colleague
Chafer celtic hymns

The mysteries grow deeper
So many poets on my list
You take me to a special place
A little red heart I can't resist...
I would like to mention everyone but there's too many
Inevitably Raised by Duck , Whisker's Rhyme, Amy, Maria, r, D.Rose,
K.Rose quinfinn, P.Orchid, Alice, MJS, Fox, Sydney, Liam, Timothy, Author, Gabriel This list has no end....

P.S. And my nephew BORROWED, who borrowed some of my poems.

What is this feeling
that leaves me longing
My heart begs to hold on
Yet the golden dream
of this beautiful stranger
fades from real to reality
Although we've never met
I know her somehow
Somewhere someway
Perhaps from the past
Perhaps from the future
Maybe a soul mate
I've yet to meet
It's as if she was torn
from my being
And in my waking hour
I am but half a man.
I long for more
than just a dream
Yet at least I hold her
in my unconscious world...

I played with the charcoal pillow on my head,
My greedy fingers refusing to let go of those soft strands,
I stared into the mirror to get the pillow to rest,
When I saw the monster society had created.
A self-centered human being who thought everything nothing,
Her dress must be crisp and no crease should be shown,
Her fingers were polished and there was not a single cuticle out.
But these same fingers used to be so sickly,
Her body covered with marks of a razor’s edge
Her heart bruised with the words of others
And in her painful flashback she remembers the words,
“I am used to it”
I don’t see that pain filled girl in that mirror anymore
I smirk; this is the best for me I thought
And then mirror cracked and my reflection was broken
When I saw the monster society had created was no better than the sickly girl.
I wasn’t accepted by my own soul.

The gold chain rests on the nape of my neck
and being unbuckled,
slowly slithering down till the swell
of my breast. Resting right at
the tip of my heart.
A swish of my hand to get the chain
and steadily it settles in the valley like the sands
in a calm river of desire,
Another move and the river with its sand is
going out to the flat expanse of my stomach
and spreading out into the ocean.
I catch the chain as it falls out the shirt
an added charm of pleasure it felt.

When you say kiss
Your lips are what I miss
And years could pass in a spur
Your first touch could never be a blur.
Hazel, pink, black
Your colors are now what I lack.
I am yours...
