He listened
To her laugh
As if it was a symphony
And she hung
On his words
Like they were vines

By Chloe Elizabeth
Another little excerpt from a short story I wrote a couple months ago.
"No."
"Um."
"Maybe."
"I'll see."
"Wrong."
"Another time."
"Don't."
"Shut up."
"Just- ugh."

Love - Lost

There was a time
it meant something to feel…
love

The sun shone bright

Counting heart beats
Dreaming of forever
Gazing into the wonder
Longing for each moment shared
together you and I

Then came the storm

Dark clouded misery
Cold windswept weeping
Blindly walking
Puddled desperation filling
vacant places you once stood

Now is the time
it means something to feel…
lost

"Roll! Take One, Action!"
It feels like I'm in a movie
Filming my own story
Directing myself without a parody.

I act, tears fall and mouth grins
Go jogging and walking in the park while eating beans
Others should realize that, that's life
Enjoying it's every part, left and right.

That's what I want to take
If I'm given a Last 5 Seconds to make
To give my life a recess
Like a kindergarten not suffering from stress.

Life is too beautiful
To spend time thinking how to be useful
Stand up, be fearless.
