When I stepped outside,
to the bright sunlight,

And the ride home.

They say when you fall in love,
Is like flying over the rainbow.
But the only rainbow I see,
was the rainbow of heartbreak.
Never knowing when it was over.
When those five words would come into play.
"I don't like you anymore"

Everybody I know likes someone.
Whether they swoon over,
Talk about nonstop,
Whether their Dating,
Talking
Too scared
Hinting they like each other.
No one else.

My science table is weird.
One of them is focused on making his humor ******.
One of them is an attention seeker.
One of them is swooning over.
One of them doesn't know.
One of them wants to leave.
I'm just there.

When I was young,
I used to live in an apartment.
On the side, there was a small little area,
Filled with leaves and covered by trees.
It was small but brings back memories.
Me and my sister,
Jumping around in the leaves
Playing until the sun set.
I miss that little place.
