Sunshine comes in many forms.
    -  -  -  -  -  -
That which comes up in the morning
and goes down at night.
And little girls who
are Grandma's De-light.
    -  -  -  -  -  -
She rises in the morning
sometimes cloudy,
sometimes bright,
but always Grandma's De-light.
    -  -  -  -  -  -
Sometimes she rains tears
torrential they may pour
but comforted by the voice
of the One who loves her so.
    -  -  -  -  -  -
Sometimes she shines bright
the warmth of hugs and smiles.
Love overflowing in the heart,
it's all Grandma's De-light.
    -  -  -  -  -  -
Love is forever and always
whether its stormy or bright.
Love covers all situations
For all is Grandma's De-light.
    -  -  -  -  -  -
Sunshine's  Eyes and Smiles
Light up the world around her.
Creating more smiles in their eyes
when first they did find her
    -  -  -  -  -  -
When Grandma's day is gloomy
Sunshine arrives with much to say
with happy stories, hugs and smiles
to brighten up the cloudiest day.
    -  -  -  -  -  -
When Sunshine goes to bed
it usually can be said
Sunshine's eyes cease to gleam
when energy's gone, time to dream.
    -  -  -  -  -  -
Eyes close and all is well
in Sunshine Land I do tell.
Grandma's De-light in peaceful sleep
The day is over, it will keep.
    -  -  -  -  -  -
She is after all
Grandma's Sunshine.

I think that I shall never see
A leaf as lovely without a tree
When it falls upon the ground
So gently placed to be found.
A child gathers it in her hands
Carefully places it on the sands
Hoping to grow a brand new tree
For all the world new life to see.
The last four lines had many interruptions (5 year old). Changed direction at least three times. Could not remember where it was going. The child was driving this one.

Rest awhile on this bench,
Let your woes subside,
It's there to be used not admired.
Where is everyone rushing too?
Running this way and that.
What is your hurry Mr.nobody?
Can't you see that there's no turning back.
Stay still as a duck in rushing waters,
Ponder for a moment or two,
They can see tired eyes falling,
Stung by what you deem the best of the rest.

i camped out all night
just to catch sight
of your morning yawn
calling on the break of dawn
do not think i did not see
the moons reluctancy to leave
or the suns lustrous grin
at your appeased skin
if i asked your name
would you push me away
to be your friend, i aim
i will wait forever and a day
oh, please tell me your name
my thoughts exclaim
love flowers safer than other

Lost
You're a ticking time bomb with a tight grip on my arm
We sunk down into the deepest end of the ocean
It's only seconds until we blow up
I can't breathe
And your eyes look like they're falling asleep
Two different creatures finding the nothingness at the bottom of the ocean
In the silence of the water, we will perish
And the rest of the world will hear nothing
a woman
appreciates a man
that can penetrate
her mind
deeper than her body.
