You sweet woman
With a heart of steel
If I crack the safe
Do we have a deal.
If I fall
no need to react,
Im quite tenacious
I will bounce back.
The code to your heart
Will be difficult to break
It’s like swimming
Inside a frozen lake.
I know your worth it
Your pure gold inside
So Im prepared
To take this task and
Crack it with pride.
I think I’ve found
a weak point I needed
A break
In going to entice
with
Some
chocolate cake.
It
eliminates
everything
in it's wake

still these
unconscious
idiots

contemplate
more champagne
for their next date

while the rest of us
gnash teeth as the earth shakes.
your
audience of holy
voyagers and voyeurs
(yeah,yeah; all’em ain’t that holy)

really,
exactly
whooo
read, reads
them reddish reeds
you wrote?

ok
now here this:
check each identifiable
in and out,
twice de minimumize

who and where
your paths crossed,
take their scripts
under your very first cheap kid microscope,
read them close,
find the warts, acne, their
true distended identity
(oops, natty)
dissect, bisect,
hell,
vivisect
their rhythms ruthlessly
with the greatest of gentility,
learn their think
smell their stink
assign them a color
and determine the height
of the footstool pedestal
they could be eligible
to be placed or trod upon

to the work,
go do the work,
assay the the intangible,
ascertaining the physical
and the mental
of the neuronal tissue dandelion
connectivity
to determine what is this
mutual attraction

and if they live thousands of miles away
start planning your journey right away!
they are your blood
they are your family
they are your rib
and they keep you company
in the garden of Eden
(Applelites only)

how likely they are a long lost sibling
you never knew you had

depending on your temperament,
offer to marry them
if they’re orphans, adopt them!
bring them e v e n
closer than an enemy

legitimize the organize,
stick out a hand,
all the rest
will follow
naturally

the wordplay is **** serious,
fools curse us, attacking empathy
for its sensuous to their BS pretensions,
their hypertension sophistry compounds their

selling them selves  as a holy sphere,
begging for attention and the approval
appetizers of meaningless internet
bacchanal celebrating

I invite you in,
where depths surface
asking you to scratch deeper
than the shallows of egoism shoals

long labored to persaude with caution,
careful disclaimers, when you enter
our first encounter, that first most
dangerous embrace, asking you
to tag along inside insights
my intent plain, secrets
displayed with increasing
the leveling tween twice
an armful of hugs

this criticism disturbs my calm,
and so I repeat twice:

grant us the write to share, in our humanity

**grant us the write to share, in our humanity

"There is no truth or mercy in the land . By swearing and lying , stealing and killing and committing adultery , they break all restraint , with bloodshed upon bloodshed . Therefore the land will mourn ; and everyone who dwells there will waste away with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air ; even the fish of the sea will be taken away ."
My father, rise up from your slumber, Defy the chains of death’s decay, Let not corruption hold you, Since it stole your breath away.

Rise and haunt my private musings, And forever guide my choice, In your absence, yet keep close, Beset me with your voice.

I need your trusted aegis, To banish infant fears, Though the clock’s relentless ticking, Has aged me past your years.

In silence, we coexist, Our secrets softly lie, Rise again, father, visit me, Linger, tarry, utter not goodbye.
When we lose a parent, they are never gone from our thoughts, their remembered words and secrets are with us for all of our lives.

I awake

at the window

a star blinks its cold eye

it is unfeeling, unseeing,

silent and indifferent.

yet I carve for myself some merit in it,

some significance.

The planet, indeed the universe

is not distracted in it's turning.

Not for me, not for you,

nor the millions of breaths that rise and fall.

Perhaps we see our existence as a tide

eroding some crumbling shore.

Yes there is a patient inevitability.

But if a star can fade peacefully and die

leaving only emptiness

Then should I suppose I matter.

Yes, I insist

I craft for myself a rebellion,

however inconsequential and fleeting.

I laugh into the void, like a struck match

weakly holding back the silent blackness.

The eternal ground beneath me rumbles

"you are nothing."

Yet still I hold my chest high

in folly I conjecture with my imperfect hands.

Cups of tea poured with ceremony.

I will write, I will create, I will build

I will love fiercely, in silent defiance.

The delusion only serves to magnify the audacity.
Exploring the existential theme of finding any meaning and purpose amidst cosmic indifference. Implying building civilizations, creating art and loving are the true rebellion to emptiness
